My old one is Scottish...my dad was Scottish and Irish...and my new one is Italian, which finally fits because my mom is from Italy...

My new last name is of English origin (although the family is probably only a fraction 'English' by now My old one is Irish.

I think my new last name is either English or Irish.. I have to do a little more research though. FH is Irish and Greek.

Your old one was Hungarian? Thats cool. Honestly I never met anyone Hungarian before DH. They are so rare on Long Island (we are an Irish/Italian lot.) But in Central NJ they are as common as Irish people are here.

My old one was German (but obviously Jewish)
My new one is German but not Jewish, but sounds Jewish lol and all my relatives keep spelling it wrong because the Jewish spelling switches the 'l' and 'e' -- it's kinda funny.
I'm happy I kept the same initials.
