My old one was Chinese because my dad has a stepfather (although my dad is Puerto Rican), and my new one is Italian. I love it so much, besides the fact that it's DH's, I'm just happy to not have to answer the question of where my last name came from anymore. Seriously, ever person I have EVER met, has asked me why I wasn't Asian and had an Asian last name. If I never got married, I still would have changed it.

i went from irish- Dowd
to super italian- Fazzolari!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And on top of that, I'm 6 other nationalities....

thats what i get for marrying a vincenzo guiseppi (who isn't fully italian!! he's greek english, and german )

I think we should change our last name to Mr and Mrs All American

funny you stay this a bride on the knot her and husband combined both there last name and legally changed there last name to the new name they made up

My old last name was English and very nice (Dad is english, Irish, Italian and My Mom is English and Italian)

My new last name is German and not so nice at all!!!!!!!!!

My old last name (and still my lat name now since I haven't changed a thing!!!) is a great italian name

i went from an awesome irish name ... Kennedy

to an italian name that no one else has but dh... his father left when he was tiny and his mom went back to her maiden name and remarried so the only father he has ever known has a different last name from him....

we were the only Altaro's at our wedding !

My new one is Irish. DH is half Italian and half Irish.

My old one is Italian.

my new name is german..deacon is irish and german..

I wish I had an italian last name.... i wish he had some italian in there somewhere!!!

I went from Irish to Irish - no big change, just more letters :)

hence Making of a Mulligan. I went from Reilly to Mulligan

My old one was russian ( but thankfully short)

New one is Polish and incredibly long.

My first name has a unique spelling to it so I think now no one will be able to pronounce first or last name without issues.
