Re: What's a reasonable..

When do you want to go? I ask because there are a lot of great packages out there if you're looking to go soon-as in before Christmas. DH and I went a couple of years ago from 11/29 to 12/2 and we paid $560 for three nights at the Luxor, air on America West, transfers, and a coupon book that we actually found useful. That price was total, not per person, and we got it through America West vacations. The only catch was that we had a red eye flight-but at that price, who cares?

Prices would probably be similar now. Check out America West and Southwest for packages. If you're looking for only airfare, I believe Jetblue flies there now too. You can also book hotels through them but I believe the best package deals are to be found through the above two places.

Depending on the time of year, airfare would run you $200-$300, on the lower end only with a sale.

I used to work in the industry which is why I know this. HTH.

Re: What's a reasonable..

Are you trying to do this for the holiday season? If so, its strictly due to the holiday season airfares being jacked up!!!

But otherwise, you should be able to find packages with 2-3 nights for about $300pp with air

Re: What's a reasonable..

We paid with Jetblue $250 per person round trip. The tickets were purchased early though.

Re: What's a reasonable..

Also, I have found that when you fly out on a Tuesday, the rates are significantly lower. Saturday night stay-over is also crucial in lowering air fares.

Re: What's a reasonable..

Vicki is right; Tuesday and Wednesday are typically the cheapest days to fly.

It's true that Saturday night stayovers are usually very important, but for a leisure destination like Vegas that needs to fill rooms during the week it's often not necessary.

I know too much about this stuff....
