What's the BEST PART about being a Newlywed?

For me, it's going to bed every night with DH. We didn't LTBM so it's all pretty new to me... it's so nice know that every day, I get to come home to him and every nite, I get to go to bed with him

Also, I LOVE seeing that wedding band on his finger! (And I love that OTHER people see it too!)

I love sleeping next to him (even when he snores) and I love knowing that there is a permanence that wasn't there before.

I love the relief of certain stress being married. NOw if we get pregnant, it's OK...at least socially.
I managed to not get 'knocked up' before marriage!
Hey, a few of my friends weren't so lucky...and getting dirty looks from old people is not fun.

We did live together before, but somehow...sleeping in the same bed and sharing a home is still better now..more special than before. I'm glad that it doesn't feel the same.

My favorite part is not having to travel back and forth to NJ.

We didn't live together either, so it's really nice coming home to him/sleeping in the same bed/eatting dinner together/going to the gym together etc.

My husband has said pretty much the same thing to me. I just feel very 'settled'

The best part about being a newlywed is not having to plan our wedding any longer!!! (you'd think given the amount of time I spend on this site I loved wedding planning, but I couldn't wait for it to be over!)

I just like that now we can focus on us, our relationship and our goals for the future together, rather than spending all our energies on planning one special day

I love everything, having our own apartment, our own stuff, sleeping together every day, going anywhere and coming home whenever we want, do whatever we want!

I would have to agree with both....going to bed with DH every night is SO nice.

We lived together so day to day changes aren't that big but for me the best part is planning our future and knowing we're in it together (finances, saving, planning).

For us it felt like the final step in our union.

we lived together b4 we got married but it still feels different now...much more special! i love having him as my best friend, soul mate and mentor. he truely is everything to me. i just love knowing that everyday at acertain time he will be coming home to me

I really like buying the to my husband cards ofr holidays and birthdays and I like receiving the to my wife ones!!

On a more serious note, I love waking up next to him, and turning and thinking wow, this is my husband. And it is great to think I have the whole rest of my life to spend with him and all the fun stuff we have to look foward to in our future!!

I love walking in the door and saying, 'Honey, I'm Home.' DH and I didn't live together so living together is everything I dreamt of and more.

I agree with you completely on both accounts. I will also add that I love waking up with him in the morning and having the little morning routine that we've developed.

but in all seriousness. yes wearing my wedding band..It represents all the love that we have for each other...and anytime i want a reminder i just look down...it makes me feel like his heart is with me at all times

i love the fact ath i can see him all week long, and not just on weekends, like before we got married
and i love the way that he looks at me when we're going to sleep.....
