so i work for 5 people. 4 of them gave me VERY generous xmas gifts. one didn't do anything yet. I'd like to give them thank yous. Should I give them this week or wait and see if the other gives me anything and then do the thank yous all at once? If he comes in next time and doesnt give me anything, then I will not expect anything at all and just do them. But I dont think he will be in till next monday.

i would just give thank-yous to the ones who gave you gifts now, and if the other one gives you a gift afterwards, then give that person a gift!

ya I may just do the thank yous this week then. Its not appropriate for us to give them gifts as I am their assistant and they make extremely significantly more money than I do. So none of the assistants here give actual presents. Some make cookies, but thats as far as it goes!

I would do TY's this week for the people that gave you gifts. If the other person brings you something next week then bring them a TY at that time.
