DH and I, for once, have NOTHING planned. We were trying to think of something 'different' to do but came up with a big miserable zero. We are so unimaginitive!
We live in Queens but distance is no object for us, we love long car rides.
What should we do this weekend?

It's going to snow this weekend, Friday in to Saturday supposedly...so that might put a damper on some things.
I like to go out east to the wineries in the Winter, it's quieter out there.

ITA! i LOVE going out there in the winter!! also, if you go to the north fork on the way back you can stop at the 'snack bar' restaurant... such a cute place! i've been going there since i was a kid! usually wineries have great little deals this time of year!

I agree!! every time i plan something it f'in snows!! i planned DH's bday party sooooo long ago and all his brother were coming from jersey!! it better not be that bad!

I know...I have a Lia Sophia party I need to go to on Friday night, and a birthday party Saturday Day, both at the same house, I don't know how DH's aunt does it....but I'm certainly not looking forward to Sangria in the snow

in the summer I could offer tons of suggestions but in the winter I am lost. In the winter when we have nothing to do we stay home and do nothing.

So funny - after I posted this thread I decided to broach the subject of going to the Museum of Natural History (my FAVE NYC museum) and not only did DH veto my idea, but he's been whining and making fun of me for liking the museum to begin with! So now we are having a pseudo argument and shooting down each other's ideas (like mature people) just for the sake of saying no! I have no idea why we are married!

I WOULD but we just made arrangements to go to AC for our dating anniv in April ... apparently it's a tradition since we went last year too. Anyway I want to have some money when we go! Otherwise TOTALLY!
