What was the worst job/maybe first job you ever had and what did it pay???

I would have to say CVS Pharmacy and $5.00 an hour.

How the hell did I buy College books on that????

ETA: I think one of the worst days for me was when a customer wanted to return Nads bikini waxer because she said it irrated her.

As I proceeded to give her the refund, she pulled down her pants on the sales floor to prove it to me!!!!!!

Nasty biotches!!!

i think i have two that tie as utter crap:

1) cashier at best buy during the holidays. i did make like, $7.30 an hour to start though, which wasn't terrible.

2) internship at merrill lynch during college for $0.00 and all i got to do for 15 hrs a week was sit in a conference room and cold call, inviting people to seminars and asking them if they'd like to speak with the broker i worked for. and all the while, he told me how terrible i was at cold calling (although, i was terrible because i didn't want to try and hard sell people)

Working in a perfume factory in high school. I think I lasted a month. It was horrible. I guess thats why I can't stomach perfume today.

A & W ..... got paid $4.25/hr

I was the A & W Bear that stood on the corner of the street and waved to people......... The suit was sooooo heavy! I fell over once and my coworkers wouldn't help me up.......... Gotta love Rootbeer!!!

I worked at Au bon pain at Roosevelt Field for like 2 weeks. I was in HS at that time.. probably around '96 or something. I hated it!! but I did like their lemonade a lot

My first job was at Caldor, it paid $3.90 an hour.

...my worst job was a telemarketer, I can't remember what it paid, but I worked there for about 2 weeks and one day got up for break and never came back - it just suckkkked!!! That's the only job I ever up and quit.

The first job I had, and possibly the worst was with a carnival that traveled around Suffolk/Nassau. It was fun at times, but generally it ****** and I think it definitely broke some child labor laws.

My first job was at Genovese (minimum wage). I was a senior in high school.

My worst job was as a 'test center sales representative,' which was a fancy way of saying telemarketer. We were the people you spoke to when you went to activate your card trying to sell you credit protector--I was a horrible salesperson. I got paid really well though and got tuition reimbursement, so it helped pay for college.
