Ours was coming up through the center floor, it was so much fun, I cant even describe the feeling we had, but our hearts were pounding a mile a minute, the music was rockin & brought everyones party level up about 1000 notches. We were so excited, just cant explain how we felt, but we have about 30 photos or so, showing us at each level of the open elevator arising from the floor, it was so nice to get them back, our facial expressions show it all, we were all smiles ear to ear that day and night, by far it was just so magical. It just started the night off with such a bang where we felt like wow, now we can party all night and enjoy the best night of our life together with everyone we love. Also we loved our two big plasma screens & our singers.
Re: What was your favorite thing at the reception?
Our first dance. I am a grade-A klutz, and we practiced for months in our kitchen. I kept tripping, stepping on toes--I'm just not very graceful--and we weren't even doing anything complicated, just moving back and forth in big circles. But that day, after we were introduced, we got onto the dance floor and we danced, without one stumble, step, or trip. But the best part is, I didn't even think about it until the very end of the song--all I was doing was listening to the lyrics and looking at him.

For me, it had to be the introductions. It was so much fun waiting outside with our bridal party to be announced. DH picked some amazing songs that really got people moving.
For DH, he would definitely say the food at the cocktail hour. He loves the fresh clams and all the seafood.

Our final song was Good Night, Sleep Tight by The Beatles..all our guests were saying goodbye to one another and DH and I were up there, dancing alone and singing to eachother..It was such a wonderful moment

Hmmm I'd have to say watching everyone dancing, singing & having a good time......at the end of the wedding they all started chanting 'dave & sam, dave & sam' it was hysterical

Dancing all night with my family and friends. Watching my video now - I could have stayed in those moments forever. Everyone was having a great time!

It's hard to say. I loved it that we had bagpipers! I also loved too sitting up at the head table and looking around at everyone.

Dancing to 'last dance' with DH. I started to cry (after not shedding a tear all night) because I was so overwheled at the joy of the moment and that the reception was over... we were dancing so romantically and realized we were in the middle of a circle of our guests. So much for private moments!

Ours was coming up thru the floor, it was so exciting and just started the night off with such excitement.........
Us too!!! We both we so exhausted right before the reception started that really it put us back in the mood...tho DH looked like a deer in the headlights...he doesnt like people looking at him-especially when its 150 people
And the pipers...it was a surprise but it was the $hit

It's so hard to pick one thing! Some of my favorites:
-Being introduced as Mr. and Mrs. -Our first dance (choreographed by me and taught to DH in the kitchen) -Seeing my mom, grandmother, and all my aunts dance to 'We are Family' -Dancing with our work friends
I wish I could re-live the night - it was so much fun!

Re: What was your favorite thing at the reception?
without a doubt....our first dance. for almost 3 minutes i felt like it was just him and i and NO ONE else in the room
we also got a sneak peek into the reception room before everyone else....and when we walked in and saw the lighting, tables set up, and the whole thing....and we just looked at each other and felt so proud we did it.

The CH was amazing and I am so glad I went to it for a bit. But, my favorite thing was the garter.... DH was so funny and dancing around, which is so unlike him. Everyone loved it and was cracking up!

Re: What was your favorite thing at the reception?
Our last dance! We played American Pie by Don McLean. The WHOLE place was singing at the top of their lungs and all of our friends and DH and I got in this huge circle with our arms around each other and swayed back and forth while singing along. It was the BEST part of the whole night!

Re: What was your favorite thing at the reception?
Waiting to be announced was SO much fun. I thought I would have been more nervous but I was calm as a cucumber. What made it fun was our BP was going nuts...yelling/shouting/dancing. We had such a great BP. I also loved hearing Mr. & Mrs. for the first time
