i am trying to book a little getway maybe 4-5 days to Grand Cayman, or Aruba... and why is the tickets are like 800$ or 1145$ PER PERSON and the ones that are cheap require me to leave from NEWARK and be in transit and make stop for like over 19 hours i am so annoyed i want to cry!

I usually use Expedia but I booked our HM tickets through Orbitz because of the price assurance thing they have.

I used Orbitz last yr when I booked Aruba and Expedia when I booked Bahamas.....go with the site that gives you the best price and make sure you google online coupon codes for whichever site you use, I was able to save an additional $200 when I booked Aruba.

maybe check priceline...sometimes they have good prices for airfare....
but generally I try to fly jet blue & book direct through them - but dont know if they fly to aruba or not

jetblue flies direct from jfk to aruba, that is what we did. the flights were VERY expensive though!
