what would you choose???

Ok, we are already thinking about our next anniversary trip! (It is always easter week, so it is expensive which is why I plan so early!)

Which would you choose???

A return trip to St. Lucia (same trip as honeymoon) for $5500

A trip to a new resort in Jamaica for about $3500

Both are all inclusive.

i would pick st lucia because i didnt like jamaica when i went i had bad expriences but thats just my opinion

Loved Jamaica!!!!!

Going back in October, staying at a different resort than our HM though. DH has a thing about going to the same place twice...

I would do something new, I heard bad things about Jamaicia and I would save st. Lucia for a big anniversry like 10 or 20 years. Hope this helps

I have to agree, I would go somewhere new! A new experience for your anniversary. How about Aruba, Puerto Rico, Punta Cana?

I just got back from Jamaica last week and will never every go back! We went there b/c it was cheap and I wish we would have spent the extra money to go some place else!!

P.S we went to Turks and Caicos Last year and it was the most beautiful place in the world. Very laid back and the people were so nice. I felt very safe leaving the resort!

Back to St. Lucia!!! I'm biased though....going back in Nov!

I've been looking at some of the Palace resorts chain in Mexico as a possible alternate to Sandals in the future. They look pretty nice. All-inclusive like Sandals. Has anyone been to any of these resorts?

How about a cruise? Or Costa Rica? You can hop around the USVI and St. Martin/St. Marteen and Anguilla.

We loved Grand Cayman. I would go back there in a heartbeat.

I also hear St. Thomas is beautiful too.

I vote for someplace new. How about Barbados, Bahamas, Bermuda, St. Thomas, Antigua, Anguilla, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Belize, Costa Rica, Aruba, Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, etc....

I think $5500 is a lot to spend to go to the carribbean...i would go on a more grand trip with that kind of budget. Just my opinion.

I agree with sonicstef that is expensive for the carribean - for that you could get a suite on celebrity with a butler for the week, or a nice trip to europe. I would look around a bit more -
