What would you do/say to the florist? Has anyone out there tried to get money back after the wedding?
Here is pic of my sample centerpiece.
Here is a pic of a centerpiece at the wedding.
I really think the quality is pretty poor. I didn't even notice at the reception, luckily, because I am just starting to go thru pics after the HM and I saw a table pic and was like, why is this nowhere near as full as my sample? I wasn't thrilled with the quality of the flowers on my chuppah, which I definitely noticed the day of (you can't tell in photos so much because they are from a distance) and my single rose that I carried instead of a bouquet was basically dead a few hours after I got it (why the florist would give the bride a bad flower when she only wanted one to carry is beyond me -- I actually threw it out after the reception, and I know at least DH noticed because when we were on the HM the hotel gave me a little bouquet with three flowers which was so pretty and I said some comment like, I should have carried this down the aisle and DH said something like, I know I didn't want to say anything but your flower was dying...). The more I ponder it, given what I paid and given this florist's great reputation, the more steamed I get.

I would definately call and talk to them- your sample does look different to me and if the flower that you carried down the aisle died- thats pretty bad also.

My bouquets, although pretty, were nothing like my sample either. My flowers were supposed to be orange, and they were pink. After it was over, I really didn't even care enough to pursue it. Whats done is done.

I would call and speak with them! They do look diffrent I would let them know I am disappointed. What is the point of chosing a vendor and what you would like and then paying for it and not have them come through with the correct product!

I know how you feel. My florist pretty much ruined my girls bouquets in my eyes.
I went with gerbera daisys because they have such vibrant colors and they are fairly large. Orange and chocolate brown was what they were supposed to be. She ended up give me all orange. Said something went wrong with the brown Really who would want all orange bouquets with an orange dress???
But anyway, I never tried contacted her afterwards. I just didnt send a thank you

No I've never tried but I think you have a really good case. Clearly that's not what you paid for, they should compensate you in some way.

I would have to say something. Really, the ones for your wedding look nothing like the sample. The sample looked full. The ones they gave u had a lot of 'fluff' but not a lot of flowers. I don't know if they'll do anything, but I would show them both pics and tell them how disappointed u r.
(Normally I prob would just say let it go, but there's an obvious difference.)

I am in the same boat as you. My centerpieces were horrible. I didn't get a sample but they were nothing like I was told they would be. They even had carnations in them when I said I did not want them and was written in my contract. I called and left 2 messages, and sent a letter and I have never heard from them. I know I should pursue it more than I have but I am sort of just over it. Its done with, and although I spent so much money them. I doubt highly I will get a refund.
I think since you have a picture of your sample and obviously they day of was not the same. I'd tried to get a refund at least partially. Its not right and they shouldn't promise one thing and deliver another.
