yeah with all delivery ppl, i give either 3, 4 or 5. Depending on my mood, how much it was overall or if there was a lot to carry or if its raining lol or sometimes i dont pay attention to that lol.

DH always says delivery should be 10% of the food cost. But, if we get $20 of Chinese delivered, we usually give at least $4.

ok, thanks for your answers. I'm never sure. DH usually tries to give 2 bucks, but I always encourage him to add another dollar or two on top of that. I guess 3 or 4 is the average then. Glad I'm not underpaying. lol. Thanks!

LOL I went on a date w/ a guy (long before DH) who thought that $2 was an acceptable tip at a restaurant..no matter what the bill. That was the end of that.

oh no - DH never does that! lol. I'd die if he were that type. It's just deliveries that he gets confused about (as do I) but at restaurants we always give at least 10% of the original bill. haha

we give ours $5, but we order from the same place at least once a week, and we order a lot of stuff
