We lived together before we got married and bought a house in July...sooooooo for us, not much has changed...

I cook more lol. We lived together before too but I rarley cooked for some reason And I go out less - like bars and clubs. Maybe because we bought a house too and theres less money to throw around

Nothing at ALL changed for us except me being busier than ever with work and school. We already lived together. We're not buying a house because we're in the lease in this condo until Fall 2010 (when we moved to PA we didn't want to buy right away in case we decided not to stay). Things will change next year when I leave my career for good (I'm working VERY part time towards my BSN degree but I will be going full time next year when clinicals start). Until then, everything is staying the same and it's perfect!

Nothing really, just my last name! We've lived together and been together for years..we were an old married couple before we were actually married!!

Ah good one! I cook more too! And I actually love it. Before we had the house we had this itty bitty kitchen...now that we have a NORMAL sized kitchen and I can watch TV in there, i'm fine with cooking!

I moved into the house. Though its a little uncomfortable at the moment and half my stuff is still at my parents so I spend a lot of time there. We are fixing up the master bedroom now, we are painting, so when that is done and we can move in there and we clean out the other guest room so I have a place for my office/desk/computer then things will be a lot better.
But a lot has changed. We are together a lot more and we cook together. It is definitely different.

hmm that makes sense too!! Im alot more comfortable in a bigger kitchen and it doesnt bother me at all!!!

nothing has changed other than calling eachother husband and wife, LOL!!! We have been together 7 yrs and lived together for 1.5 yrs.

I have been putting in very long hours at school and DH has been cooking for me and taking care of the day to day stuff at home! It is nice for a change.

i got a new job and a new car! this year has turned out to be a great year..i can say turning 25 (quarter life crisis ...has been amazing...new last name, new car new job) loooving life :)

Wow... my life is 100% different now than it was before we were married!!!!!!
We never lived together before. I quit my job in Brooklyn and moved down to North Carolina where DH lived for the past year. We chose the townhouse together, but now it's our home! So we're living together for the first time, and I'm unemployed for the first time in 5 years... and living somewhere that I don't know anyone or my way around!
But I love every minute of it!!!!!!!
My life is totally different but I'm happier than ever, so I think it was definitely a thrilled step, and the right step for this point in my life. So far, this side of 30 has been wonderful.

Haha, I'm unemployed at the moment, so for us it's the other way around. But any money we do have it working to pay off the debt we have from last minute wedding expenses and the honeymoon ( which turned out to be a lot). It was weird discussing our pay-off plan together though, cause normally my stuff was mine and his was his.

We lived together for almost three years before we tied the knot. Other than moving into a 1 bdrm apt (we lived in a large studio with a balcony before), not much has changed. DH still cooks (I'm a very lucky woman ) and I clean & do the house chores. DH does procrastinate with the handy work- nailing, assembling furniture, etc. What can you do? Men will be men.
