I'm meeting a friend for dinner tonight so no cooking for me! Actually, i'm not cooking at all this week since DH is away!

going any place good tonight??

i wish i could get away with not cooking...but Chris said I can't be lazy since I have the time to learn

Vincents Clam Bar in Garden City. I've never been but I heard it was good.

oh your so lucky. Their food is so good. If you like spicy sauce ask for the mild sauce cause even for me the hot sauce is way too much for me!

I was just there this weekend!!! The food is delish!!!!!!!!!

i dont like alfredo sauce but on foodnetwork they should have a good recipe. I did make it before for somebody but a long time ago, it was easy to make from what i remember.

What about penne ala vodka or shrimp scampi. Or just doing a regular homemade sauce with sausage, pork, or meatballs if you prefer that. DH alot of times does it with sausage, pork and veal oxtail

the sausage sounds good....what kind of sausage do you recommend??

thanks!!!

dh gets the hot sausage, which i like and adds that little bit of fire to the sauce, not bad though its kinda mild. Just depends if you like that or not. One time he did a mix of hot sausage and sweet italian sausage for anybody that doesnt like it hott. Just go with your preference. He also likes buying Esposito sausage lol

ohh i can't do hott food...but maybe i will get the sweet italian sausage and make danielle's recipe tonight!! thanks

yeah the sweet sausage will work just as well. They also have other types of sausage with like basil and cheese and all sorts of stuff, just go with what you like. Usually we stick with sweet and hott but once we did do one of those cheese type sausages and wasnt bad
