What's the best thing about being married?

For me, its the notion that someone is ALWAYS ON MY SIDE.
I grew up an only child, and have always been really independent. Up until now, I've depended on my close friends who really 'get me' to relate to and empathize with.
But lets face it....when it comes to family situations, work situations, finances, and goals, friends are not necessarily 'in it with you.'
Its SUCH AN AMAZING FEELING to have someone who is in my family, on my side, and who is 'in it with me'

What about you? Whats the best thing about having a husband?

There are alot of things, I grew up an only child to so I definitely agree with you!

I have to say waking up with someone there. Granted its not everyday since he leaves before me but I like that stay in bed and cuddle idea a hell of a lot better with someone

I couldn't agree more!! There's something so special about waking up next to him every morning and knowing that he'll always be there for me!! LOVE HIM!!

It's just great having my best friend by my side all the time. And getting to share a life together & be our own family is great.

you have someone to come home to and to talk about your day. they're there for you when you have good days and bad days

Having someone to cuddle up with when I am tired or sad. Someone who will always be there for me.

on the superficial side, the best part about being married is actually getting to call him my husband. it sounds so much better to say 'i moved to AZ to be with my husband' than 'i moved to AZ to be with my BF'

but ultimately, getting to share my life with the coolest guy on the planet, who makes me happier than i ever thought possible and who i know loves me for me is probably the best thing about being married

The Best Thing abut being Married to me would be the Feeling of Sharing a Lifetime together. I Love to think about how our future is going to be.

I Love the Feeling of Having someone ALways there by my side. My Best Friend. My Everything.

I Had felt all this before, but Now Being Married, it makes things feel so much More Realer....

girls...i could quote every single on of u! there are just so many things that make married life amazing! having ur best friend with u through everything, waking up & falling asleep, looking forward to a beautiful future, someone that ALWAYS makes me laugh, someone who's always there for me....it's all just so much fun..oh yea - and did i mention the sex hehehee sorry - had to get that in there!

Ok really........I like that everything is simple and the way it should be. It just feels right. I can't explain it

but the BEST thing probably is just, like everyone said, having your best friend by your side through thick and thin. Taking on new responsibilities 50/50. Always going to sleep and waking up with him, eating dinner together EVERY friggin day. pretty cool

Same here I always dreaded the family functions do to that question.
I have someone to spend the rest of my life with and share all the ups and downs and Someone to talk to about everything.

the best thing being married for me is that:

We are our Past, our Present and our Future...

I don't know if this will make sense to alot of you but...I mean we have such an incredible past (went through so much of life together already), Our Present is just for a moment (to know what we are capable of)...and our Future is what we both look forward to...

So just knowing that I have this amazing man by my side to share the rest of my life with

The best thing would have to be doing things together in OUR home, not having to wait to see him or to wait for him to pick me up.

And, having someone always there to protect me, help me, comfort me, and love me
