What's the best thing about being married?

For me, its the notion that someone is ALWAYS ON MY SIDE.
I grew up an only child, and have always been really independent. Up until now, I've depended on my close friends who really 'get me' to relate to and empathize with.
But lets face it....when it comes to family situations, work situations, finances, and goals, friends are not necessarily 'in it with you.'
Its SUCH AN AMAZING FEELING to have someone who is in my family, on my side, and who is 'in it with me'

What about you? Whats the best thing about having a husband?

Being his FIRST priority. Even before his family, work and friends. He is totally my backbone 24-7. And such a great provider.

waking up next to DH! and having dinner every night together. its just so nice to have someone around everyday that loves u so much!!!

not so serious: not having to go out to clubs, bars, parties with that pathetic feeling of 'when will i meet 'the one' ...haha..or having everyone try and set me up with someone and always being asked 'why aren't you married yet?'

on a more serious note: having that one person who is the first one you call with good news, first one to go to with bad news, and is the one who comes first in everything in your life, as you do in theirs
