There was not an option so I put what was closest. Id say 3 days when he was in Florida.

before we got married, i made DH wait almost 3 months so that we had something to look forward to on our honeymoon...we didn't even consumate our wedding night...it wasn't until we hit the sands of jamaica did we do the darn thang!!

FYI - it was a very difficult 3 months since we were already living together..tough nights he slept on the couch.

We had a long distance relationship for 2 years so at that time it was only about once a month. Even now, we go weeks without, we're just so busy and work opposite schedules.

Wow, you sound exactly like us! We did the long distance thing for 2 years as well and now our schedules are so different and DH works 12-18 hour days. We barely see each other and when we do, we are exhausted. I feel like an old married couple!

the wives that don't have sex as regularly - do you get upset? when DH comes home from work it is late, i am sometimes already sleeping and he is EXHAUSTED. i find we have little time for sex - i can get frustrated at times. you?

I had Whooping Cough when we were engaged. Between all my fevers, medicines and coughing, it was like 5-6 weeks.

To answer your other question, sometimes we work opposite schedules too (DH is a musician so he works alot at night). We just try and make time for it whenever we can and try not to get angry with each other for lack of sex.

Well there was the 3 week abstinence before the wedding... then were weeks at a time during my pg, and then there was the post partum period where you can't have sex for 6 weeks -- that was the longest we've ever gone.

I just keep thinking that there is something wrong with us when I hear other Newlyweds talk about doing it all the time. I do worry about having a hard time getting pregnant. At 38 it might be hard enough, but if we aren't actually doing 'it' that often, obviously it would be more difficult!

Usually not very long... but there was a time in Feb/March when he was gone for 2 weeks at a time for work for a total of 6 weeks

He gets more frustrated than I do. Usually when I am in the mood he is ready to go!

I'm not 'in the mood' as much as I used to be in, say, college!

I think part of it is that we're both working, responsible adults and it is TIRING to come home and be on and do it. The day seems to get away from us.

I get really upset when we go for a long time without sex. In a perfect world I would like to have it almost every day, but it's usually more like 1-2 times a week. But then there are those miserable times when we go a couple of weeks. I literally want to bang my head against a wall.
