I hate washing dishes and taking out the garbage

umm. okay...

wow! what a thread. seems like I am going to be the dull one here ..I can't believe- and this is JUST MY OPINION- but some of you would rather take clothes to the dry cleaner because You dont want to run an iron on it?? I trick I learned is hanging up the wrinkly clothes on a hanger straight out of the washer.
Usually works most of the time, then a quick pass with an iron if you really need it.
Just saved at least $3 a shirt doing that.

I'm sure I'm going to get lambasted for this post..

I don't like that I have to take out the garbage...and I am the only one that seems to remember what night to put it out...but I figure since it bothers me the most. I figured I might as well s.u.c.k it up and do the chore

I hate doing the dishes. I swear those things multiply or Brian thinks he is funny and puts them back in the sink even though they have been washed. I hate hate hate doing dishes.

Ironing I dont mind just as long as it isnt Brians stuff. Have you seen what Brian looks like, his clothes are huge and such a pain in the toosh to do. So he irons his own clothes.

all the icky stuff I leave to Brian like taking the garbage out and cleaning the ferrets cage

Chip, I hate dishes too I hate 'after dinner cleanup' PERIOD ! I LOVEEEE and enjoy grocery shopping and cooking, but after dinner, I just want to socialize and have a cup of coffee

Phyl, LOL, so true about just hanging stuff up right out of the dryer. and waste of money on certain things, dont get me started. The people that I know that I can list 75,000 things that they TRULY WASTE money on are always the ones complaining that they cant understand how they cant save enough money to XYZ (house, car, trips) etc etc.
Now, did i take the cake for being lambasted? LOL
Sorry, but its true in alot of cases.. I Know people that make minumim wage that are doing pretty well for themselves and people that are making way into the 6 figures and cant pay their mortgage... makes ya wonder..

I hate to do everything!!!! I am very spoiled because DH is a neat freak!! I have not mopped a floor in eight years and I rarely have to clean the bathroom.

We rotate the laundry duties.

I do hate an unmade bed and I never leave dishes in the sink. We do have a rule that the person who cooks does not do the dishes and I do all of the cooking. I have been pitching in a lot more lately, but I still do not mop.

I hate scrubbing the grout on the tile floors - considering 1/2 of my house is tiled What a disaster! My knees look like I dragged them down the street! Pretty!

Roger loves to do dishes, must make him feel as if he is washing away all things bad or something, he sings and whistles as he does it. He hates laundry so I do it and he unpacks.

Crisco we have that rule too, I never do dishes, b/c I do most if not all the cooking.

I hate ironing, especially now when I have 6'3 husband who wears XXL shirts and cleaning the bathroom grosses me out.

doing the dishes & cleaning the kitchen after pete cooks - he uses one pot/dish/utensil & throws it in the sink for the 'maid' to clean!

The toilet and floors. DH is supposed to do these but I often get frustrated that he doesn't do them often enough and I do them anyway.

anna I know what you mean. Brian does all the cooking so I do the dishes. How someone makes a hamburger and needs to use 3 pots, 5 utensils, and bowls is beyond me. I hate when he cooks, i swear he uses everything we own.

I can totally relate to DH using every pot - pan - dish - and utensil in the kitchen when he cooks! That doesn't bother me as much as the mess he leaves. He doesn't put anything back! He'll crack eggs and leave the shells on the counter -- then he'll leave the fork he just used with the egg on it on the counter... the milks out, the butter, argh I'm getting annoyed just thinking about it!!

He makes really good breakfast though -- so I have to just live with it

February I can relate. He leaves a fork on the counter with egg yolk or something and it drives me nuts.

But I cant complain too much, he is an excellant cook.

LOL, I thought it was just john, that uses SO MANY pots pans and utensils to cook a few things, LOL.
Makes the biggest mess of the kitchen, that when im cleaning I have to ask myself, was the meal worth all this effort to clean up??
Well sometimes it is, he's a great cook!
