What's the quirkiest thing your DH has on display in your home?
Mine has a velvet Elvis hanging in our bathroom.
MIL has offered to help me get rid of him. (Elvis, not DH!)
I feel too guilty to do it though. Elvis was in the building first...
Do any of your DH's have something you would love to get rid of?

oh jeez - my DH is like a 12 year old sometimes. We have
- a picture of him snowmobiling from like 15 years ago - framed, signed baseball cards - his HS graduation picture - his plastic football piggy bank

My DH doesn't so much have one strange thing I would like to get rid of, but he does have a weird interest in ordering a zillion magazine subscriptions (some for me, some for him, some we both like). I HATE it, I know he has good intentions but there are always a ton of magazines cluttering up the place!

DH loves to collect things - mostly sports - and I'm OK w/ that. He is also a lover of 80's hair metal, and we have a framed poster of RATT in our living room. I HATE THIS POSTER!!!! however, it is small, and much better than the super-huge KISS poster he used to have up. it was a post-makeup KISS poster, and i think that's even worse! i can't wait til we have a house so DH can be banished ot the basement w/ all his stuff!

nothing in OUR home--but when he lived with a roomate a few years ago....they had a pet tarantula. (insert scream here) and they had a tupperware container that had the tarantula's 'shell' in it--like it shreds its entire body and it basically looks like the skeleton of it.....and they kept it to show people how 'cool' it was.
i didn't go there much after that--and thankfully DH moved out soon thereafter

Hmm He's pretty non-quirky. He would call me the quirky one. BUT he did insist on putting up two posters of dogs playing pool and cards in the hallway (where I decreed they should go :hah) and the rest of the artwork he picks out is usually evry traditional and classic.

Dh has turned our beautiful study/library into a consult room --- we have a model brain, a skull and lifesize model spine (on a stand)... it's a bit much, but they'll come in handy around halloween.

OK the first time we went to Foxwoods, I won over $2K and gave DH half to spend on whatever he wanted. He came home with these:

and here is what he THINKS is the strangest thing that i have in the apartment:
my Madonna and child. he is such a heathen. If i fight with him in the bedroom he tells me that baby Jesus is watching and points to it. He hates it.

A framed panoramic picture of lower Manhattan, including the WTC. Don't like it, brings on memories.
He also has a of S&P shakers in the shape of a nudie woman, with huge ones for each shaker. I try to hid it in the kitchen cabinet.

i just have to my eyes at this, but when he got the special edition of Halo (I think Halo3, though who knows) it came in a miniature helmet, that is big enough to fit on a cat. It's creepy, so it is kept in the spare bedroom, under a black pillowcase.

A model of a formula one racing car that he made, a brightly colored painting of dolphins swimming and an egyptian mask rubbing that he made when he was in fifth grade.

This 'collectible' (as he calls it) helmet from a video game he loves called Halo. It came free with the game when he bought it last fall, and I thought he would just want to leave it out for a little while, but it's still on the shelf right in the middle of our living room! It was kind of cute at Christmas time though, cuz I got a Santa hat for it to wear. But without the hat, it's just not cute anymore!

DH's family has a fantasy hockey league and the winner gets a trophy that is named after his grandma. They get it engraved every year with the winner's name. He won it last year and he JUST told me he won it again so it gets to stay in our house for another whole year! It is in the middle of our living room. It makes him so happy so I dont mind it!

we have a Sumo Wrestler.
DH saw it in the Sky Mall magazine on a trip once. He told me if I get an engagement ring he should have a sumo wrestler. i couldn't really argue with that so I got it for him as an engagement gift.
Since we don't have a basement or the 'man room' he's in the living room in the corner. We decorate him for the appropriate holiday so at least he can blend in a little

OMG me too. DH has that and I hate looking at it. i usually stick hats on it to spruce it up some. . He used to have figures he put together but he put them in another part of the house so no one really sees them.

a huge Iraqi flag in a big wood frame that he got when he was there- he was a marine Our first fight was where to put it. I guess he feels it's a symbol of sacrifice or something that I'm sure makes a lot of sence to him but I just didn't want it over our couch in the living room. I won & it's in the computer room.
I did loose the fight over my mannequine heads, he thought they were creepy so they went in the closet
