What's your favorite casual restaurant?

Hi, guys,

I have a little lull here at work and I'm bored so just wondering what everyone's favorite casual place to eat is, such as Friday's, Chili's, etc.?

DH & I like Friday's the best; we love the Jack Daniel's burger and the Brownie Obsession.

OMG St. James was like my second home when i lived AROUND the corner from it!!!!! Looooved that place...I miss it :( haha

FH Rileys (sorta casual in Huntington)
Tex-Mex in Huntington
Sal D's in Southdown Huntington
Meehans in Huntington
(are you seeing a pattern here)
Ciro's in Kings Park
Emilios in Commack
Filettos in Northport
Baja Grill

I love a place in Mineola called St. James we drive there sometimes we spend more on gas than we do on our dinner

You drive around the block from me and don't stop by??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I live on Mineola Blvd., a few blocks from St. James.

DH and I love the downtown grill! You should defintely try it out. Great food!

i LOVE their bread and hummus! even if we stop in for a few drinks, i always ask for the bread w/ hummus, so yummy!! anything we've ordered from their has been delicious. we actually stopped in for a couple of drinks after our wedding - downtown grill that is.

Major's Steakhouse in East Meadow.

Major's has the BEST wedge salad with blue cheese! YUM!

We love Applebees and Panera's...

But by our house we like Gibson Steak House.. they make kick @ss stuffed pork chops!!!

Bayview Restaurant in Queens!!! It's on the water and has great food! haha...I'm biased though..My DH and I own it!! Come by for dinner!

OMG am I the only one completely obsessed with Carrabba's?!! I know they're new to LI (they need to open some near me in NJ)...
I was turned on to Carrabba's when DH lived in Georgia...so anytime we visit there we go like every night! And if we have a dinner night out with my family on LI we make the pilgrimage out east!

We also love Outback. I love Cheesecake Factory but DH is not a fan so we never go. I think he automatically assumes it's about the cheesecake- and he HATES cheesecake....and cheese in general!! He knows there's food there but he's a PITA!
