I have a little lull here at work and I'm bored so just wondering what everyone's favorite casual place to eat is, such as Friday's, Chili's, etc.?
DH & I like Friday's the best; we love the Jack Daniel's burger and the Brownie Obsession.

In Long Island, favorite casual places are Cheesecake Factory and Baci (Italian) near the mall.
I also love Emilios in Commack (grew up near there). Best pizza!

Hmm for chains probably Charlie Brown's, then Fridays, then Houlihanns bur we don't go out often anymore.
My FAVE casual place was Mexicali Rose where Peete proposed (and it was where we went on our first date!) but they changed owners and the last time we were there they treated us like crap so we have not been there since...It was really disappointing.

I like Uno's. I used to work at the one is Bay Ridge and Massapequa, so i am a liitle bias and hooked on their deep dish pizzas.

1. Tai Show North Japanese- Hibachi grill and sushi place, we just went there last night, its brand new and great, located at 316 Main St, East Setauket, NY 11733. Check it out, we loved it and its pretty inside with pretty etched glass and a huge tropical fish tank which runs down the center of it. Sushi bar in back, hibachi grill on right, Japaneses tables to left and regular tables in center. (631) 751-28481. 2. Cheesecake Factory - Mall at Smithhaven 3. Blackbeard's Restaurant, 943 Middle Country Rd in St James 4. Howards Cafe - Best Double Baked Wings around & great tasting burgers, like 15 different ones, its all you can drink beer wine or soda, meal also comes with a salad, this is located at 404 S Service Rd, Patchogue, NY 11772 (631) 758-6161 in . 5. Buffalo Wild Wings - 1986 Middle Country Rd, Centereach - (631) 676-5650 6. Oh I forgot the melting pot, but I am adding nicer restaurants to my list now, just like I did above, this place is to die for, its in Farmingdale, something every person has to try at least once, trust me, you will leave so full its crazy. Must do the four course meals forgot the name of it.

My favorite local casual places are JT's place since they have creamed spinach and really hot wings, Buckley's Inn Between (wings), Sunwater Grill (Monday and Tuesday- 2 lobster dinner for 30 bucks), Meson Ole for Mexican, and Il Cappuccino (sp) in Sag Harbor for Italian. Oh, and on season, Lobster Inn is yummy!
My fav casual lunch is called Tully's-it is in Hampton Bays and we love their buckets of mussels and steamers for 10 dollars for lunch....yummy!
I detest most chain restaurants, but i do like Chilis. I turned their Chicken Club Tacos into my own Chicken Club Salad...yummy

I like Cheesecake factory a lot. And even though it's kind of for kids I love Friendly's. DH and I also love Mexican food and theres a really good Mexcian restaurant called Maria's around the corner from us - yum!

We love Main Street Cafe on Main Street in Patchogue. The food is good and love the atmosphere.

For my husband and I, it's Sutton Place in Long Beach. When we bring the children out with us, It's Ruby Tuesday's or TGIF. The food is yummy too!!!
