Whats your worst habit?

I have a horrible lip biting habit where I twist my face in all sorts of directions to bite the skin off the insides of my mouth and lips. I also peel them sometimes and it looks like I have cold sores because of it. I wish I could stop!

i DO THAT!!! ESpecially in the winter of if I dont drink enough water. I dehydrate so the lip skin peels and I literally rip it off till it bleeds..disgusting. I started using a really good lip balm though now..so its better! Most lip balms make it worse because I have sensitive skin but this works well.

I also bite my fingernails to the quick and eat the cuticles if I dont give myself or get a weekly manicure.

Yup I do the same. DH gets so mad cause he says I look like I have a disease on my lips. He says so many people suffer from cold sores and I do this to my lips on purpose.

A saying my mother used to say so hopefulyl its correct lol. She has a tendency to screw up sayings and names of things. she calls the little league dugout the playpen...nuff said.

But its SUPPOSED to mean biting them down to the nubs till you have more finger than nail.

OMG I DO THIIIIIIIS! DH yells at me b/c he says I always look annoyed b/c of chewing the inside of my mouth-then he tells me I am a cannibal b/c I am eating myself

Same here. You should try this lip balm. Im telling you it feels SOOO GOOD. Its like a rich handcream for your mouth and it doesnt make me peel. let me find the name...

Its not cheap-liek 9 bucks for the little tub but it lasts really well beneath lipstick and its just so creamy. It melts in and DH doesn't mind it. he usually hates gloss.



I have the guava one (clear) and got it at Sephora.

Its SOOO GOOD Tilde! I am anal with glosses. I like NARS for color but most balms like chapstick, make me peel. i am allergic but this stuff nope. Wear it day and night because the guava is clear. It feels like those thick luxurious hand creams but foryour lips. there is no petroleum in it.

I let everyone know when they have one My kids are like me now and automatically do it without me asking

i even bite them when i have acrylics on

I would say biting my nails, but I stopped doing it about a month and a half ago. I would bite them just like Jenn said - as far as possible. Then one day I decided to stop. I do notice that I still I attempt to bite them, but a little buzzer goes off telling me to stop before I do any damage. My nails are not very long, but at least now they look half way decent.

I have done this no nail biting thing once before for like 4 months - this time I am hoping it sticks, but it is so hard. It's not like I have to go out to the store and buy my addiction. In fact not biting my nails costs me more (ie manicures)
