DH and I did not open our gifts until after we got back from our HM. We had DH's parents keep all of the envelopes in their safe deposit box while we were away.

We opened ours when we got home after our reception and FIL made a deposit for us when we were away.

I think we opened them Sunday night. We didn't deposit anything until we came home from our honeymoon though.
