I thought 6 months would be an average time to send them out but My whole family is driving me crazy about it. I don't even call my grandmother anymore because I know she will tell me someone in the family asked her why they haven't received their TY yet.

you're going to hate me, but i had mine out 6 weeks after my wedding. i wanted them to be out soon... i hate waiting for a long time for a thank you.
i think more than 6 months is really pushing it.... JMO though.

I did not have to many to do, because we had a small wedding. I got ours done a week after we got back from the honeymoon.....

I did them within 2 months. Wedding was Sept got it done before Thanksgiving.
I just wanted it done and over with.
I herd the average is 3mo as the earliest thou.

Mine were mailed 4.5 months after the wedding. I would have done them much sooner, but it took our photographer 4 months to get us our proofs.

We sent ours out 5 months after the wedding. I wanted to make sure everyone had them by Christmas because apparently my aunt was talking to my dad about it at the end of November and I didn't want to have to hear about it at Christmas.

I just finished mine. It's been more than 6 months. Sure I would've loved to send them out the week after....things don't work out that way sometimes.
My MIL asks me. Her son is the one who took the longest to write HIS. End of story.

We sent ours out within 2 months of the weddings. I haven't done my vendor thank you notes yet, though.

I sent half out right before christmas and half after.
There are still a few stragglers (people whose addresses I somehow lost) that DH was supposed to take care of addressing - they are all his friends/family- and they've been sitting on the kitchen counter for 2 months now.

We just ordered out TY pics last week and our photographer said they would be in about 1 week or so. I'm going to start them as soon as I get the photos in. I think 6 months is a sufficient time. I believe you do have up to a year to send them out after that it's a bit much.

i ordered them two days after i got my proofs and they should be here in about a week. i will definitely have them out in less than a month SO i would say that is approx three months

I just got mine delivered from shutterfly, and I plan to start writing them this week (wishful thinking) so by the time they're mailed, it'll be about 4 months after the wedding.

I sent mine out before Christmas. I still have to write them out for the vendors, which I plan on doing this week. Dh still has to write out two for two of his friends, luckily they don't really know the rest of the guests that were at our wedding because everyone else got theirs over two months ago. Dh is such a slacker.

My wedding was in November and I'm only 1/3 done with the thank-yous it is such an arduous process to handwrite each card!
