I thought 6 months would be an average time to send them out but My whole family is driving me crazy about it. I don't even call my grandmother anymore because I know she will tell me someone in the family asked her why they haven't received their TY yet.

We sent them out within 3 months. We were married 10/13 and i had them out right after the new year.

we just ordered ours too -- I want to bang them out as soon I get the TY's in my hand. I feel bad that they've waited this long as it is. I really want them out by March 14th. That would be 6 months for us too. But that just may be unrealistic

we got married july 21st and sent them out the first week of Feb. This was a lot later than I wanted to but it takes a really long time. I wouldn't worry about it.... as long as you get them out before the one year.

We got married 4 months ago and I have yet to order our Thank Yous!!!! It's been super frustrating deciding on pics and layout. For the last two weeks I've been telling DH that we just need to pick something already, so I think we'll just pick something and be done with it
I would REALLY like to get them all and send them out before our 6 month mark.

I sent mine in early January. I printed a few pics of for each guest of themselves and mailed it with their thank yous instead of a pic of us, so that took some time.

You are supposed to send them out within three months, according to Emily Post.
I sent a bunch out within two weeks, then the second chunk four months after. So obviously I was a slacker. If DH and I received a gift before the wedding, we sent a TY out immediately.
Don't wait. Send them out!

that's how I felt --- it took us forever to just pick a photo, then we had to wait for the photo to be edited and approved, and now 3 weeks till there ready. geez just want to be done with them already -- it's such a process

I got mine out about 4 months after the wedding. The only reason why it took that long is because I couldn't decide on which picture to order for the cards. But I know it's typical for it to take much longer. I went to a wedding July 1st and still no TY! I know she's really busy though, so I understand why it would take so long.

Our wedding was July and they were sent out the end of Sept, and I kinda thought that was a long time but my photographer took forever with the photocard!!!
I always think 3-4 months is good! I think its a reasonable amount of time. JMO

mine were all written out & done within two months....BUT lol they sat on top of our fridge untill 5 because we procrastinated on paying for postage honestly they say up to a year is fine...don't worry about it!

DH started on his side first and send them out end of Dec. I just started on my side of family and friends these past two month, i have a few to go. i know i went to s wedding in may of 2007 , and the girl send her thank you after the new year, oh well, everyone is different!

I was married on 9/14 and had the last ones done and in the mailbox on 12/31. I actually sent the BP and immediate family their TYs within a month of the wedding and did all of the others later. So, 3 and 1/2 months to get them all done!! So glad that is over!

we had custom christmas card thanks yous. i got them all out before 12/25 because i had no choice. i just glad i got them done and people remarked at how cute and timely they were!
