I'm going on 4 months and I still haven't even ordered them. I am such a slacker. My goal is to order them on Tuesday (I made an appointment) and send them out by the end of the month.

Mine went out 2 1/2 months after our wedding. Proofs were not ready for pick-up, so we had to wait. Then we were undecided as to what photo to be used for our thank you cards--MIL wanted the one of us looking out of the limo. I wanted a formal portait of our reception venue as the background. Then it took 4 weeks for the custom order to get through for thank you cards with our names, wedding date, custom text for the thank you sentence, and photo. Overall it took 2 1/2 months--our wedding was mid-August 2002 and it was all sent a week before Thanksgiving 2002. Yes, it was late but I really wanted specific thank you cards and for those who have Cassarino Studios would know the greeting/thank you cards I'm referring to. I refuse to spend more money on tacky pack of .99c thank you cards when we've spent a lot from our photographer so it was late but everyone did receive a card. At least it was sent out before Christmas 2002!

I finally ordered them last week and hope to get them out by early April. It was my own fault.

We had a lot of gifts sent to us before the wedding, and thank yous for those went out upon receipt. The others were all out within about 6 - 8 weeks after the wedding. I set a goal of writing 10 per day which made it easier. I took some to work and did them during my lunch break.

I was an anxious bride and just wanted them done. I ordered them the week after I got back from my honeymoon and they were in my hands by the following weekend. I turned them around that weekend and had them mailed 3 weeks after my wedidng. People were shocked! I just didn't want to drag it out and I thought it was rude to wait to send them six months later.

TODAY! Yippie! Well, actually, mine are ready to go. DH hasn't started his and I'm not going to nag him anymore. I started mine about a month ago and did a couple at a time and when my pics came in I just slipped them in the card! DH on the other hand is a slacker and I'm not caving in and doing his. We decided (well I decided) that we would each do our own family/friends. I'm not starting this marraige off by doing everthing for him!

We had a hard time w some of the tys b/c we didnt have addresses. A few ppl that we didnt even invite to the wedding gave us small presents.
all in all fi did all his family and friends i did all mine and we got them out w/in 3 mnths

i felt like a slacker too..mine went out in sept, and my wedding was end of april...if you wait too long it gets harder to motivate i think!! i don't want to mention that i haven't even done my album yet!

We sent ours out quick (about 5-6 weeks after wedding).
