TTC? I know it's been done,but I am seriously bored! DH and I are trying now, taking a littlelonger than I had expected, but seeing and reading what other women go thru I am feeling lucky and grateful with the gorgeous kid that I have!

DH and I do not agree on the whole TTC thing. I would like to go back to school in Sept 09 and I'll be there for at least 5 years. After I graduate I want to start my career. Doesn't leave me much time for a kid, since neither of us want one now. DH would like to have at least 1 kid preferably a boy and preferably in 3-5 years.

We will probably start once DH starts his new job. Right now we have too much going on to take on that kind of responsibility. So probably by the summer we would have started

We have been TTC since April....and we keep on trying....in the next couple of months..we will going to the doctors for testing and all that wonderful stuff..and will go from there...I've always said if it is meant for me to have another child..it will happen...

every now & then i get baby fever...so does dh... but then i REALLY think about all it entails and I'd like to wait a few years... if it happened then of course i'd be ecstatic about it..but i have a lot i want to do with my career, traveling, and just being able to go on random dates or weekend getaways spur of the moment...or even just be able to have some hot loud sex lol. in a perfect world, i'd wait five years...that would put me around 27 / 28...i DO think we'll end up preggo before that - but we'll see if we can hold out!
wow so if that means you're 22/23 right now, then you definitely have some time......that's awesome!! you can still have some 'selfish' time and travel around. I would love the same kind of time, but I'll be 28 this month, and NO that is not 'old' by my standards lol (my mom had me at 36), but DH is going to be 33 in a few months, he's the one who is on the prowl, I can't keep him away from me now that he knows I'm off the pill! normally this would NOT be a bad thing! but I wanted to wait til maybe summer or around our first anniversary to start TTC, I told DH I'm locking myself in a closet at night to prevent any 'sneak attacks!!!'

we definitely won't until DH is finished with his PhD, which still won't be for another 1.5 - 2 yrs. If I had my way, we'd wait even longer, so that I could at least go back to school to get my masters, but we'll see how i feel about going back to school when i'm 28. . .plus, i don't know how i feel about the whole working mom thing. i really want to continue towards a career that would really make it difficult to be the kind of mom i want to be.
we also don't plan on settling in tucson (or the west coast for that matter), so we have a HUGE move once DH graduates. we'd definitely need to find a place to live first and deal with the move - might be hard if i got preggo. we'll see, who knows how we'll feel about things once he finally graduates!!

We'll probably start to try in a year and a half to two years. There is a very good chance I'll have a new job at the start of 2009 which means that I may not be eligible for FMLA and we need my income. DH has baby fever baaaaaaad though!

Now that I made my health issue known, we are considering TTC late 09, early 10 at the earliest. Most likely I will start my medication now and wean off of it (for my RA) around our second anniversary. So it most likely will be a '10 baby for us!

We have been trying for a year now. We have an appt. on Tuesday to begin testing to make sure everything is ok. I'm 37 and DH is 39 so we figure we better get checked out.

Well first would be a home then it will be travelling and parties in our home and then maybe so maybe 5 yrs by then I will be 33

I'm not sure I ever really want to have kids, but not sure I don't either... very much on the fence. Either way it wont be for a few years. Focused on our careers and buying a home right now, kids are still way off in the distance.
