TTC? I know it's been done,but I am seriously bored! DH and I are trying now, taking a littlelonger than I had expected, but seeing and reading what other women go thru I am feeling lucky and grateful with the gorgeous kid that I have!

Gorgeous is right! I love your avatar of her on LIF! DH and I decided we will actively begin trying after our trip for our 1 year anniversary. We want to be able to go away and enjoy it first. And then hopefully we'll have a spring baby in 2009. But I've been stalking the TTC board on LIF getting ready. It's a lot of work!!!

DH has the baby bug--i do not. if it were up to him we'd be preggo by the end of 08 at the latest. i'm not ready for that---i'd like to wait until like 2010--but he's dying! he keeps telling me that he's getting 'old'...(he's 31). i think its just cause his family equates being a man with having a child or something.....even though they can't provide for their own kids.

We had a scare a few weeks ago but it was a false call. DH was so relieved it made me rethink having kids...
I want them but he still doesn't seem to at all. He is always talking about how much work they are and how we would have to alter our lifestyles drastically. to accomodate them..
I mean I knew that going in about him, but thought he would change my mind if we were married stable and they were OUR kids... but not really. So we're not sure about kids....

Not for another 3 years I think. Hopefully by that time the where do babies come from talk won't freaK me out as much. That has got to hurt

I'm hoping this year, but I leave it in God's hands. I'm getting up there (36) now and it would be nice to have a little one around. I want to drop a few lbs before that happens.

Well it's not exactly like we have not been TTC for the past 10 yrs....LOL but we will both be going to the Dr to make sure we can and are on the right track LOl...we both are wishing soon...next month I'll be 31 and DH 33 soooo we want a lil one even though we are wondering how the hell to finance it

Not till we have a house .... which will hopefully start to shop for in early Spring, and hopefully buy before the end of 08 ...
So maybe we'll start trying late 09?
We haven't talked about a specific time frame together, we just know we're not ready for it yet. Especially, physically, for me right now ... that would NOT be good!
Secretly though, I think there was a small part of me that thought (even though we were safe so there was no reason to think it!) that a honeymoon baby would have been nice ...
Its hard to wait, so many of my friends have kids already, two of my bridal party members were pregnant at the wedding! But, just like with the wedding, it will happen when the time is right for US ....

Not for awhile! I'm 29 and DH is 44. We are still on the fence about having them at all. We figure in 5 years we will do some serious thinking and make a decison We both feel to young to have kids at this point

every now & then i get baby fever...so does dh... but then i REALLY think about all it entails and I'd like to wait a few years... if it happened then of course i'd be ecstatic about it..but i have a lot i want to do with my career, traveling, and just being able to go on random dates or weekend getaways spur of the moment...or even just be able to have some hot loud sex lol. in a perfect world, i'd wait five years...that would put me around 27 / 28...i DO think we'll end up preggo before that - but we'll see if we can hold out!

this is exactly us to the T!!!! We need to buy a house, and hopefull in the spring, then we want to live in that house alone for awhile, then conider having a baby.. I do want one a lot, but its not the right time.

Probably not for a few years. I know it is a big life change, which I am not ready to make yet. Plus DH is in a rotational program which will take him to SC from June-December 2008, while I stay in NY.
