We had a small roof leak. So Sat. Dh went to fix it. Well it was not only a crappy patch job from the previous ownner but now its electrical damage , roof damage, drywall damage and framing damage. So now Dh has to run new electric over there, Refreame that whole area and replace all the drywall. Plus there is mold which I have to get taken care of. This *****.....

I would have BUT apparently it was pre-existing and we just did not know. Luckily DH can do it all. I told him he better hurry cause when we get our taxes back I am calling painters to paint several rooms in the house and we are getting a formal living room set, kitchen set and dining room set.

That does stink but thank goodness you found it sooner ratrher than later. W had a similar issue in our house and whil it was a pain to repair and set back construction work for a week it was good thing we found out about it.
You are lucky your dh can fix it. Enjoy picking out your new paint colors and spending your tax return .
