I'm Queen of the Icey Silent Treatment....he HATES that. I think he would prefer that I yell.

I would say all of the above, it depends on how ticked he has me. And HE TOO has chronic foot in the mouth disease. It is a wonder that we dont notice all this before the wedding.

i usually shoot him a stare that could Kill....

follow that with a Lengthy (depending on the situation) Silent treatment.

And when he finally give up on trying to get me to 'talk it out'... theres a little more silence, and them BAMMMMMMMM my vocals chords go full blast

Interesting technique I think I'm similar. But I have been known to throw books at his head Not in a while though

Depending on the situation, it's the silent treatment for a bit. Then when I've calmed down enough we talk loudly.

I've never thrown anything at him, although sometimes I just want to beat the daylights outta him!

First, I get silent. Sometimes I cry depending on the severity of his actions (i.e. deciding to go away for the entire weekend to Atlantic City with his buddies without telling me when we are leaving for Vegas in less than a week). Sometimes I storm out and either go shopping, to a friend's, or to my mother's. Sometimes I pack a bag to scare him!

I get mad...loudly...and then it usually blows over quickly. I run hot but never hold a grudge.

unfortunately, I give the silent treatment. I know it's wrong, and I'm trying to get better at expressing my feelings, but sometimes, I just need to cool off first before I say anything.

I know That is why I do not use this tactic with Anthony

I'm more of a yeller - Dh does the silent treatment . I rather just battle it out and get past it, he shuts down.

HIS tactic works on me though -- because he knows I wind up getting SO FRUSTRATED
