WHen I met my DH he was not dating anyone and neither was I but we were friends for a good 6 months, getting together as part of a crowd before we paired off and...here we are, 3 years of marriage later , 1 child and another on the way. The signs of us liking each other were going on for awhile during those 6 months. We still 'debate' who made the first move towards a relationship LOL it was all really very sweet, Im smiling thinking about it.

We met at work(well, King Kullen, I was 18) & he was single & I was dating several guys, so I thouht I'd just add him in, who knew, he'd be the one that stick!!! we've been together ever since.

We were 17 working at Grand Union. We were both cashiers...lol!
Anyway we went to neighboring high schools. He had a girl, which he broke up with for me. I had a guy (sort of) which I forgot about for him!

It's been almost 10 years now! Grand Union has closed down, but we are still going strong! LOL

Nope, we went to HS together. We were in practically every class together junior year, became friends, then got together that summer. Wow, that was sooo long ago!

We met at a wedding. We were both out of long term relationships and were randomly going on bad dates. We went to the wedding solo and spent the entire night talking to only each other.

He was out with two guys from work, one of their girlfriends and her friend. He was not dating anyone at the time but I later found out he had just gotten out of a broken engagement 3 months before (he told me 5 months back then )

We met in 1st grade. We dated in HS and then broke up and stayed great friends until a few years ago when we started dating and here we are now married with a baby on the way!

He was meeting friends at the bar, I knew one of his friends...and the rest is history!!

i met him at a bar - we were both out with friends. he hit on my friend (who had a bf at the time) so she passed him to me!

He was in a band playing at CBGB's.

I worked w/ the drummer- DH plays the guitar.... I went to see my co-workers band play that night- the rest.... you know.....

he was at work, with me!!!! We both were bartenders... didnt even like each other at first. It was a competition thing. I was considered the top female bartender and he was the top male bartender and when they put us on the same shift, it was hard. But obviously we made it!! we have since quit the bar and now teach, coach and hang out on weekends like normal couples!

We met while we were both college students, me a business major and Nick a techie major at Pace University, New York in the Computer Lab. Nick flirted with me to get my attention while on duty in the lab tossing my student identification card on the floor and making me bump my head from the registration desk to pick it up. After the Fall 1996 semester ended, we sat next to each other in the lab sending emails to each other where I’ve given Nick my phone number and told him I was free during the Christmas 1996 break. He’d asked me out and we went to a local sports bar for dinner on a bitter cold December evening of a New York winter as our first date.

We met in college after he disqualified me in a sorority sporting event for our Greek Week. I uh, 'told him off.'
He was dating a complete PSYCHO. I wasn't with anyone.

Out with friends - his best man and that guy's fiance who is also my sister's best friend. My sister was there too.

Neither of us were dating anyone else seriously. We met at a party after the Corporate Challence in NYC. I went with friends, he was hanging out with a friend from his office.

DH tells me another guy came up to him and his buddy, swore up an down that they worked on the same floor & department but they had no clue who he was - had never seen him. This guy proceeded to go on about how hard it was to meet someone, DH told him it was easy - just walk over and say Hi and if she wants to talk to you she will, if she doesn't you just move on to the next one. This guy insisted it didn't work that way, and finally said - OK, Go talk to HER, and pointed at me (I'd just walked over to the bar). DH thought I was cute so he walked over and we spent the rest of the evening talking.

Funny thing is, DH and his buddy searched the next day and never ever found this guy that supposedly worked with them. So I like to tell DH it was one of God's angels bringing us together. His response is that it was a demon from Hell!

I was out with a bunch of friends and my ex. My ex was friends with him too, so he was there with some of his friends. Well, we started taking and that was it. The next day he called me and the rest is history. We have been inseperable since!!
