When you're at work....

Another COMPLETELY hypothetical question…

If you’re bored at work, what do you usually do to keep you entertained? (besides LIW?)

I’ll usually:
*clean my desk
*Pretty much every day I have two different “Reply All” email chains going – one with 4 of my best friends and one with about 10 of my coworkers. We have some fairly random conversations.
*read stories on http://www.abadcaseofthedates.com/
*try to think of things I need to buy and do ridiculous amounts of research/price comparison on them
*make overly detailed budget sheets (like for the wedding, things we need to buy for the house) to practice my Excel skills

Call DH
go through emails
check out travelocity, expedia, etc. and plan 'mental' vacations
shop online
balance my checkbook and/or pay bills.

Go to the bathroom...visit friends down the hall and chill...check out other websites...check out tripadvisor.com...come here...do more work...come back here....go to the bathroom again....come here...do some work for 5 minutes...go to more websites...straighten up my desk....look at my 'to do' list...try to cross something off...come back to LIW...go to the bathroom...visit friends again....

You get the cycle...

today most of our office went out for a retirement lunch, but i really didnt talk to the person retireing and didnt feel like spending $32
so i stayed in, but since nobody was here i decided i didnt wanna work...

so i was playing online games all afternoon

bubble town!!! soo much fun!
its kinda like snood if anyone has played that befre


but normally i facebook, onlineshop, that sorta thing..and liweddings of course!

OMG...I LOVE Bubble Town!!!! I used to play it all the time on my home computer...until I got an iPod Touch and downloaded the real Snood. OMG addicted!!!!!

I have to be focused the entire time I'm there...no breaks, no bathroom, no leaving the room.

You can still play Snood online?? OMG in college I was obsessed with that game… one of my friends even got a Snood t-shirt.

It s*cks, I can’t play too many games at work bc my office is right next to one of the main hallways and my back is to the door, so anyone walking past can look at my screen.

TEXT EVERYONE! lol lol lol lol

im literally busy from 8:45 until 5 and sometimes after that im so so so busy.

I don't have much downtime but when I do:

Facebook
LIW
LIF
Newsday

In that order (everyday)...then followed by whatever I'm shopping for that day.

And if its a product for my face or body, I research it on makeupalley.com. How did I live/exist before the internet. I actually remember the FIRST time hooking up to this 'world wide web thing'

Although usually I'm so busy I don't get to stray away from work tasks for more than a few minutes. Plus people in my office can see my computer so I have to be super discreet.
