Where can I get my wedding and e-ring appraised?

Both of them are family heirlooms and my MIL has not idea what they are worth. So I need to get them appraised. I am curious, I don't even know how many carats are on them or anything.

I need to go somewhere honest and that they will do it right in front of me. Thanks!

Hmm we went to Mathew James in Valley Stream. My cousin who is a jelwer said Macys in NYC is the best place for appraisals

you can go to any jeweler that has a gemologist on staff.... they charge money for this though.....

Fortunoff will only appraise rings purchased in their store, so dont go there

The Jewelery Judge in Garden City.

They charge $70 per ring to appraise.

Deborah is really nice & they do it right in front of you.

I love your rings, they are very beautiful. If you want to come to the city, there is a place in Macys @ 34th Street

I was told they do they highest appraisals the person said they were extremely happy with theirs!!

Kathy, there is one right inside EAB plaza...its called gem labs, her name is Theresa Beltrani. She found a crack in my original bailey, banks & biddle ering....because of her they had to comp me with a better quality stone!

Can someone post the address for the Jewelry Judge in Garden City? I am no longer wearing my rings because my fingers are too swollen from being PG, but I am going to have them appraised again as we are updating our homeowners insurance policy and I would like to have a more recent appraisal. My e-ring is also a family heirloom.
