hey there, new person!
DH & I met at Sullivan Room on Thompson street.
DJ Heather was spinning and it was my birthday.
He kept untying my shoe and everytime I got it tied he would pull the string.
I was too drunk to notice until the 3rd time..

we met at mulcahy's in wantagh.
our friends knew each other, but never intended to set us up.
he didn't talk to me at all that night because he thought i was dating my friend (a guy). but that also meant there were no cheesy pick-up lines, no lame excuses, and no stories made up to try to engage me in conversation.

DH and I met on match.com and our first date was on my birthday four years ago this July. We are another match.com success story. I haven't written my letter to them yet though...kinda waiting for my professional wedding pics but who knows how long that is going to be LOL

that's kind of like the way it happened for us, too.
Is your father still friends with the guy?
I'm still friends with the girl - she was one of my bridesmaids and I'll be her MOH this year at her wedding.
It's so funny because on our wedding video, the videographer asked DH how we met, and he said, 'I went out with her friend, met Vika, and dumped the other one' - she cracked up when she saw our video!

I met my DH at Mul's too! We met on ladies night and have been together ever since.

We met at a bar (Cinco de Mayo party) in our hometown 8 yrs after I graduated HS. Turns out he graduated a year ahead of me, we grew up in the same town, went to the same schools, ran in overlapping circles of friends and I was great friends with his cousin....but never met until after HS, after college, after I moved to Atlanta for a few years.....we met a month after I moved back, 6 yrs ago this coming May 5th...been together ever since. His mom says it must mean that we weren't 'meant to meet' until we met....sounds obvious, but to us it really applies since we could have met each other at many point throughout our whole lives growing up, but didn't.

we met through a mutual friend over the phone.we were living in different states at the time
i was drunk and i said ..hey when you are in town..lets get together and do it..its been a few months for me..and he said ok..and we did..haha..i know im a hoochie..but whatever we talked on the phone every day for a month and a half and the he came to town and we hooked up and have been together ever since 3 1/2 years were married now

He was the pizza guy at my favorite pizza place, but we introduced ourselves when we ran inot each other at our favorite bar. That was 11 years ago, but we didn't start dating until 2 yrs ago!
