so we're planning a short pre anniversary getaway, and i have no idea where to go. DH doesn't want to go mexico or dom republic since we've already been there. all we want is to relax in the sun and do nothing else, so now i'm thinking maybe jamaica, but i have no idea where. any ideas? we plan on going in Jan. TIA

I stayed at the Riu Tropical in Negril in July...they were in the process of renovating. IT was very nice, needed some updating which they are doing so it shold be even nicer now

Staying by Montego Bay or Runaway Bay or Ocho Rios is nice, b/c Dunn's River Falls...there are alot of awesome hotels there, a beautiful one that they just finished building called the Principe (it's a spanish resort, and it's gorgeous!)
Grand Lido is nice, and has a golf course if DH is into that.
I'm part Jamaican and I just came back from Jamaica for my cousin's wedding last weekend. you will have a blast...Negril has some of the most beautiful beaches b/c it's 9 miles of endless white sands...where as Ocho Rios is more of bay beaches.
