My mom wants to buy tickets for my bday in January to a broadway play. Which should we go and see? I've seen most of the major ones.
She mentioned Lion King and I know Little Mermaid is brand new and we both loooved the movie when I was a little girl.
Or should we do Hairspray which is grownup humor?
I took her to see Phantom and we saw Beauty and The Beast together too. Unfortunately I already saw Wicked because she would have enjoyed that.

Save loads of moeny and just rent all of them on DVD. I am useless I have not been to any of these plays but if I had to pick i would choose the Lion King.

I vote for the Little Mermaid cuz that is my FAVVVVVORITE Disney movie and I'm dying to see it on Broadway.
All 3 are supposed to be great, so don't worry, let go of the guilt - your mom will love whichever you choose.

I just saw the Lion King and it was unbelievable!!!! I loved this play sooooo much!!!!!! It truly was amazing, so my vote is for Hairspray
