Which do you think you would prefer? A loosely themed shower around pinkish girly jewelry ideas like this
or
A tropical themed shower in honor of your Hawaiian honeymoon. Think more upscale hawaiian than luau (orchids, tropical prints, asian inspired decor, etc..)

I would like the Hawaiian one better, becasue i hate pink!
I didn't vote...b/c I don't really like pink...but I do like the ideas that you put together...
I'm torn....
does Nicole like pink? if she does...go for it...if not...could you do a theme on her favorite color?

I'd go with Hawaii....
Unless Nicole really *loves* pink, I'd say the pink thing is too reminiscent of the over-the-top pink fest that Trista imposed on her wedding...blech...

Knowing me I'd want pink b/c I LOVE pink, and I'm selfish, so the hawaiian theme would seem to me like it's almost for me and hubby in a way, and not just ME. I would want the shower to be all about me, so I would go girly.
But girly and Pink really has to be in her personality to really love that. So if it's not, I'd go Hawaiian.

i love them both!!! without knowing your friend, it is hard to say. i love the girly-pink one, but i also love the idea of tying her shower into her HM theme.
if it was me - probably the pink!!

I like the idea of a color infused shower, very original and not over the top. Like the other girls said, you either love pink or you don't...if she does, love the idea.

I like the Hawaiian theme, and then maybe you could make the wishing well into Honeymoon tidbits instead of the usual kitchen odds and ends. You know, like suntan lotion, magazines, cheap sunglasses, flip flops? Just a thought.
I agree with others, if her theme for the bms is pink, or she LOVES pink that would be great too. Personally when I think of pink I think of that scene in Steel Magnolias where the mom says the church looks like it was hosed down in Pepto Bismol!

She likes pink..but she doesnt LOVE it like Trista or Shelby from Steel Magnolias. Pink will not be the theme...Im just had to pink a color scheme that works with the girly/jewelry idea, so pink it was. In theory, it could be another color but I dont think she will have a problem with the pink.
I dont want it to be traditional boring..i want it to have some flair. So thats why im torn b/tween the girly and the Hawaiian if that makes any sense. I think both can come together nicely but I dont know which she would like better b/c I cant ask her.
PS: Thanks for all the votes and the posts. Still not sure. The girly one is winning but I was hoping for a landslide to help decide.
PSS: For those that vote they dont like either - can you say why. Dont worry, I will not be offended. Maybe you have something I havent thought of before?

Maybe you or another friend can ask her a question rephrased somehow to get an idea out of her. Maybe ask her what type of bachelorette party to plan for her, girly or hawaian theme? Tell her youre all wearing something the same (an item of clothing) on that night and what 'Theme' would she prefer?
Hope that helps... I cant think of other 'situations' to ask her, where she could give you an idea of what she'd pick...

I love the girly theme. I think pink looks good if you don't go overboard which I'm sure you won't. The Hawaiian theme is cute but you can use it for any type of aprty, this is so perfect for a bridal shower,

Looks like the girly one is now winning by a landslide. So that probably decided it. Thank you girls. I still dig the Hawaiian theme but since the girly one is winning, its probably the safest bet. Im hoping she will appreciate either or.
Anna: If Im not sure, no one else will know either. Plus, she would know right away if the question was posed. I really want it to be a surprise.
FYI: The Ring Pops will probably be placecards, not favors. For favors I might do costume jewelry pins that I can get for about $2 each.
Now if only I could find some velvet ring boxes for cheap, I would be set

Stef I think you also got a lot of votes for the pink girly stuff because you showed pixs of that. I think if you showed the Hawaii with pictures also the vote would have been different or much closer.

That may be true but I dont have a whole lot of creative ideas for that one. It would be more traditional than the girly one i think. I might have to look around.
