Who does what

Boards are a lil slow... so who does what? Who cooks? Who cleans? Who pays the bills?

DH:
Cleans the cat litter
Takes out the garbage
Occasionally washes dishes (we don't have a dishwasher)
And.......that's it.

Me:
Everything else.

I do pretty much all of the cooking (Dh makes a mean grilled cheese every once and a while). We both clean & both pay bills.

Since DH has finished all 3 games of Grand Theft Auto, hes been BACK at helping out!

DH ALWAYS does the laundry - we both fold and I put away.

I clean, cook and wash the dishes for the most part. He will wash the dishes and set the table once or twice a week. (He always says he will wash the dishes but I cant leave them dirty for hrs - so I just wash them right after dinner instead of waiting until 10:00, so he can wash them.)

DH takes out the garbage, does the house stuff (WHEN hes in the mood)

Bills - he pays the bulk of them, we split the rent, and I pay for Con-Ed and groceries.

Not an overall BAD deal ... I guess I just wish he wouldnt take his SWEET time and wait until the last minute for everything!

DH works from home alot so he takes care of laundry, changing the sheets, starting dinner etc. He is also a neat-nik and really pro-active with the cleaning and such.

We have a house cleaner once a month but when we do the cleaning I usually swiffer and mop the wood floors, windex, clean the kitchen, etc.

He does vacumming, bathrooms, dusting and weeding in the yard.

He definitely does more than I do :(

a year ago before my health issues, we split a lot of stuff.

in the last 10 months, he has really taken over almost everything. i'm a lucky gal

granted, our apartment isn't as neat or clean as i'd like it to be ... but since its hard for me to do that kind of stuff, i'll take what i can get! we've also run out of space to put things b/c this place is sooooo small!

most of our bills are on auto-pay online ... dh takes care of writing out the rent check each month.

we go food shopping together ... no one can blame the other for buying the wrong brand, or forgetting something

We both do, but I tend to clean more and he tends to cook more. He used to do the bills all the time and now I do them.

I only work 2-3 days a week while DH works 9-5 M-F so I do most of the cleaning. Sometimes he cooks. I pay the bills.

I have to admit we split it pretty evenly

I cook inside
FH will BBQ anything I ask him to

FH does the bills
I keep track of the sales and make the lists of things we need to restock

We do the grocery shopping together

FH vaccums and dusts
I clean the kitchen, bathroom and mop the floors

All in all I can't complain it works out REALLY well for us

we both cook - but DH cooks better and faster so he cooks more often :)

DH does all the heavy lifting/physically demanding stuff bc i physically cant. as for the rest, we split as much as we can. DH is a great cook and enjoys it. i also enjoy cooking so we share that. i do the tidying up, folding laundry, etc and he does deeper cleaning- wiping floors, etc. we try to pick up where the other leaves off. i think we're a pretty good team.

He pays the bills, creates excel spread sheets, does our accounting, and tracks all of our credit card and bank statements online.

I pay for daycare. He pays everything else. Including the cleaning lady 2x a month.

I food shop
I do laundry
I garden
I parent
I complain

He would buy me anything in the world that I want, but I don't really ask for anything.
