Boards are a lil slow... so who does what? Who cooks? Who cleans? Who pays the bills?

My hubby cooks and does small things like puts the dishes away and does the laundry. I fold the clothes and do the major cleaning (dusting, vacuum, the mirrors etc..) he also takes the garbage out .. its pretty much 50/50 - i am VERY lucky!!

hmm. me. all of it. i actually prefer it that way, DH has other talents, housekeeping isn't one of them. But cooking is rarely done in our place currently, DH dials a mean takeout.... that'll change after when I'm home for a stretch!!
Oh and I suspect that SOMEtimes, what does what

We split it all and it's pretty even BUT I have to always remind him what needs to get done or otherwise he won't think of it himself. But once I tell him he's usually good about it.

I cook, clean, walk the dog, do the good shopping, pick up the dry cleaning. We do our own laundry, but the house laundry I do like towels etc.
He pays his bills and I pay other bills.
The only thing DH really chips in to do is walk the dog.
He is lazy!

gotta say we're a pretty good team....we both work so when it comes to house stuff it's a pretty good split....
Cooking: ME...if the meal doesnt involve a 'start' button on the microwave he wont even attempt it lol...that being said, i LOVE to cook - so i dont care! lol... AND he sets the table, and cleans up afterwards..
Cleaning: Me: bathrooms, dusting & washing floors(if i ask he'll pitch in - not a prob)...Him: Vaccuuming, laundry(sometimes i do it too), bed, garbage, dishwasher when needed..
Bills: Him for the most part...
like some of the other girls said, we pretty much try to pick up where the other leaves off

Since he moved into my apt I still pay almost all the bills - he just graduated from school, so his contribution right now is gas, driving me places, cleaning, cooking, and food shopping. I just work, sleep and eat! Until he is a few more years into his career this is how it will be... I'm ok with it, I'm used to being financially independent. I'm sure things will change when his hours get crazier, and when he starts making more $. I might have to learn how to cook

Me: food shopping cleaning- I have OCD- even if he helps its sloppy and I have to do it again anyway. Finances cooking- for us and the dog (yes he gets meals cooked just for him- its getting out of control)
Him: he tries to help so I will give him some credit but I do the brunt of it. I really need him to step up to the plate a bit more. I work more than he does and can't continue to do it all!
He used to do laundry but apparently his idea is going to the laundrymat and when the clothes are done he throws them all in the bag. He was FIRED from laundry and now I do drop off since I have no more time.
