Who else loves packing

I have to start packing tonight for our trip. I am already dreading it. 2 suitcases is not enough room for all of my shoes and clothes that I will never wear anyway.

I am jealous of DH he has in his suitcase about $300 worth of Abercrombie and Fitch sweatshirts that our friends asked us to bring them (I would rather sell it out of the trunk of our rental car). All his clothing and 2 pair of shoes.

Men have it so easy in addition to the world being their toilet the term comfortable shoe is meaningless to them all of their shoes are comfortable. They don't have to pack trousers according to what boots they plan on wearing no matter what shoes they wear the length will always be correct. They have it so easy I may just take up wearing pajamas in public.

In other news my friends told me my new comfortable flats look Amish ah well I don't care I'm still wearing them.

you know i JUST realized right now reading this question....i like to pack. i like organizing everything in little piles and then putting it all together in the suitcase. i also think i love it cause its like 'woohoo--i'm packing for a VACAY!!!'

I, too, hate packing. Even more so because I am bad at it. I wait too long, I always bring twice as much stuff as I need, and I drive everyone crazy. Part of it is that I like to have options. I don't like going into a trip knowing that on Tuesday I have to wear the green shirt and the black pants. I want to have choices. Which of course means doubling your shoe selections.

My DH can pack for a week-long business trip in a rolly carryon bag. In the winter, with bulky sweaters packed, that size bag wouldn't even get me through a weekend.

I feel your pain. My advice is to start drinking immediately. And the South Africa like such as.

Oh i hate packing...especially when flying cause i gotta pack lighter...you always need the 'alternative' outfit....incase the one you planned on wearing isn't what you 'feel' like wearing...and forget about the shoes...you need the ones you can actually walk in...the ones just for dinner out that look great but you can walk about 20 feet in before dying...then there's sneakers for your trip to the gym (that you know you won't ever actually make on vacation, but packing them is essential!!!!) Good luck...hahaha!

I am sorry but this made me lose it. I don't go to the gym at home why would I go on vacation. You are 10x better than me.

I am so dopey I packed for a ski weekend but failed to pack any socks I wound up paying 5x the price for a pair at the mountain but still not as bad as my brother. He forgot his ski pants my dad took him down to the ski store at the lodge to buy the cheapest pair available. He bought him women's bright aqua pants for a 14 year old boy it was torture

I love to pack! I've become pretty good at it and have mastered packing for a week long trip in one small luggage. My husband ***** at packing though and brings everything but the kitchen sink!

What have you told you about making that face at me. I have a very short reign. I tried to talk DH into delaying our trip but apparantly his family comes first

Where are you going anyway? Is it anywhere fun??? My inlaws are a HOOT they stayed out ever night til 2am or later for 2 solid weeks when they were here!!! Sadly they are in Ireland so we dont see them too much :(
I beg to differ, anywhere I go that has no cubicles is definitely a vacation...
