CRAZINESS! I am packing light. I told Pete we whould make it a point to fly to vegas this year because my brother got us buddy passes for jet blue. Make a weekend of it.

Nuts. We're taking a local vacation (Lake George as I posted earlier) though we'll probably spend a fortune in gas. I want to rent a hybrid or something w/good gas mileage since neither of our cars are very fuel efficient.

FMIL is going to pay up the wazoo to go to argentina...
FFIL is going this month and he was told that its an extra 50$ to take a second luggage...

get teh fluck out

the prices are just unreal. i wanted to drive to VA in 2 wks and i'm reconsidering based on gas prices already!

i feel bad for people who have to travel this summer and haven't gotten tickets yet. could you imagine if you needed to go somewhere for a hardship reason? (sickness, funeral, etc.) what if you couldn't afford these rates?!

damn you oil companies!

FFIL is going this month and he was told that its an extra 50$ to take a second luggage...

not sure but as of May 23 rd International AA told us they have not raised it as of yet and there is no date that they have to raise it. Mind you AA is one of the ones charging for ANY luggage. Meaning even one piece for domestic.

What they will do is.. If your Luggage is over 50lbs they will charge you $50 extra
We moved stuff over into different compartments with other luggage so it was all about 45 to 48lbs

we had so many plans to travel this summer....but their all axed now. cant afford these crazy prices.

i kno really.. between gas prices, flying costs, flying restrictions...
increased temperature.. and increased price for electricity.. im better off swimming to where i want to go for vacation...

that way i can stay cool and not pay for gas, flight, or clothes.

Insane..I just looked up Vegas airfare...Dude..it used to be $79-$99 dollars each way last summer through Jet Blue. Now for 2 people round trip...about $1,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
