Me and my 3 friends are looking to get away for one of my friend's 30th birthday. We were thinking about a cruise, but then the idea of laying pool side/ beach side in Cabo is appealing as well, but I need some recommendations.

We just came back from there and loveeeed it. Had an awesome time. We stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Holistic Spa and Retreat - beautiful and great for relaxing. You can go to all of their hotels and use all their facilties on different beaches.
I really recommend it. That particular hotel is adults only.

We went for our honeymoon and stayed in the Westin Resort & Spa and at the Grand Mayan. Both were wonderful.

Depends. Only Continental flys nonstop there and back and only from Newark and I also think it's only 1 or 2 flights a day. It's the same as a flight to Cali..like 5/6 hours if I remember correctly. We flew nonstop there from newark and connecting home to LGA cause at the time we lived about 5 minutes away from LGA...if we didnt' live so close to LGA we would have done the nonstop return to Newark. So, unless you want to spend the extra money for the nonstop your only option is to fly connecting. Most connections to Cabo are either through Texas or Arizona. We connected in Dallas on the way home.

This place looks perfect for a honeymoon, but not for 4 girls...it's a different vibe!

The ME is supposed to be a big hip party spot so if you did decide to go with your girls thats where I'd stay.
