Who is the spender/saver in the house?

People can't believe that DH is the one with the shopping problem, and I'm the one who likes to save!!

I'm definitely more of a saver than he is. If he wants something, he just gets it. If I want something, I have to think it over a million times and then I end up not getting it!

we are both savers, probably because we don't really have any money and would like to someday we do go out to eat every now and again at expensive placed and DH LOVES a good bottle of wine (or 4), but other than that, we're pretty thrifty.

I'm both! I am always yelling at DH that we need to spend less and save more, but then I go and order a ton of crap online when he's sleeping!

I'm a huge spender. Whenever I get my paycheck, I always have an itch on spending it on something (shoes, purse, sunglasses). DH is pretty good with money except for food - we both spend so much money dining out. Whenever we go out (which is 4-5 times a week) we go all the way..from appetizer to dessert to couple of bottle of wines. Nevertheless, DH is still pretty good on saving money and paying our bills.

I would have to say that I am more of the saver and DH is more of the spender.

i'm a BIG spender! The crazy thing is that DH encourages me to spend! He's amazing


same here!! DH always tell me I can have whatever I want -- yet he's the saver. I'm waiting for him to one day to tell me to stop spending now that he does the bills

i'm a definetly the spender and him the saver, but i've been trying really hard to be more cautious of my spending.

We're both savers... I'm probably a bigger spender and more willing to shell out $ for shopping / purchasing new things than DH is.

I am definitely the spender...much more so than DH but I also save as well. DH never questions my spending so it can't be TOO bad!
