Parent albums?

Was it the person who paid for the photographer?

Each set of parents on their own?

The bride and groom as a thank you?

There's a story to this but I'd like the feedback. Thanks.

We paid for everything ourselves including my MIL's album. (she couldn't make it to the wedding(not able to fly)

We unfortunately couldn't afford to get the parent album's! We have 3 sets of parents! So we got them Folio's. Any extra pictures they want, they are paying for themselves.

We paid for the wedding and couldn't afford the parent albums. We let them know about it so they could buy their own but they decided it was not worth the expense. I gave them each 100 proofs and put them in an album. I also made enlargements but they haven't come yet.

We did the same. My Mom paid for the reception and DH and I paid for everything else. I paid for the photographer, and couldn't afford any albums at the time. I am not paying for parents albums, as I feel as if I've done enough. We gave them each a dvd that came w/ our video package and I had enlargements made up for last Christmas. Not to sound so blunt, but if they want albums, they're going to have to pay for it themselves.

Why do you ask? I've had issues w/ this subject as well, but I've put my foot down. It was bad enough that I couldn't afford pictures for my TY's, and therefore, wasn't going to include any. Come to find out, my MIL made a comment, and all of a sudden, we spent $400 in tiny pictures to send once I had written them all out, sealed and stamped them all

Whatever.... there's the album......
