Re: Who still lives in an apartment?
we're in an apartment... we're OK for it for now. We just started looking for houses.. and even agreeing on a NEIGHBORHOOD to look in causes arguments....
Search in your own words. Describe what you need or ask a wedding planning question.
We are still in an apartment but we are browsing for a house/condo. The apartment just doesnt feel like home anymore. I feel like we are giving away free money..that never bothered me before we got married. So our ultimatum is by end of the year.

We live in a one bedroom apartment. Neither of us lived on our own (aside from college) before we got married, so we're okay with it for now. In addition, I'm still a full time student, making no money, so we can't afford a house for awhile. It will be a few years, but I can't wait until it happens!
We're still in an apartment. Hopefully we will start to house hunt again soon.
DH and I live in an apartment. This is the first time either of us has lived away from home (besides college). We have a 2 year lease signed, but I hope that we will start looking for a house next year.
I know the feeling , currently I am living in a Studio apartment it is very hard especially when I grew up in a house all my life. I can't wait to get a house. I told my husband I will not start our family until we buy our house.
we do! I actually don't mind it, I love where we are.
We are in a basement apartment and I hate it! I dread going home all the time. It is so dreary down there and I hate knowing I am paying other people to dwell in their basement. We are going to hopefully buy something this year, but it will probably be in NJ. At least it is a little more affordable than LI.
we live in a teeny tiny 1BR in midtown. i'd love to get a bigger place or buy a coop or condo in the neighborhood but we definitely can't afford it. we won't be looking for a house for a few years and we won't decide where until my family decides if they are moving to nc. if they're moving there, we are not buying on li.
We're in an apartment that I love. I cant not see in the upcoming future that I would ever be able to afford a house (well the downpayment anyway) so we are good for a few more years.
We have a really big (well for Manhattan) 1 bedroom and I really do love it here. Eventually (before baby makes 3), I would like to buy a house. I was just looking at houses on MLSLI and now I'm a bit depressed. I don't think we'll be looking any time soon! I read the news to cheer myself up! Oh dear.
