I read this story and feel disgusting. Someone on here was afraid of getting bird mites in their apartment. We have a bird's nest on our air conditioner and every time we knock it down, they keep coming back. Now I am afraid of bird mites.

YUCK!!!!! My skin itched as I read this article especially 'the mites moving around on her skin.' I that you & your DH do not have the mites.
Scott & I had to retract a bid we had on a house due to a bird flying in & out of a 2nd floor vent. Sadly, when I informed the husband he had a I don't give a hoot attitude. I was because this all was happening in a home with 3 children & a preggo wife.
