WHOA ---
Have to tell you what happened ...(Background: my grandmother died two years ago in a house fire. Her and her husband both died that day - two days before Thanksgiving. She was an amazing woman and I miss her every day.)
I had a dream last night about her. We were sitting in a car talking and she was telling me real things about my life right now. For example, I dont speak to my aunt anymore. Its a very long story but it was all around the wedding planning and she's a piece of shyt and so is my cousin .. I dont speak to that family anymore.
Anyway, she was telling me things about it like how I should speak to her and she didnt mean to hurt me...
Then, I started hugging her and I swear it felt SO SO real. I started crying in the dream because I didnt want to let go - like somehow I knew that that would be it.
Well, I woke up with tears coming down my face. I was literally crying in my sleep. Then I started crying so much that my husband woke up and was like 'babe, are you okay what happened' ..
Im still so shocked by this dream.. I really feel like she visited. Has this ever happened to any of you?

I totally believe that they visit you in dreams. Now this is my opinion (and please dont think I am crazy)- I think you should reach out to your aunt. There just might be a reason why your grandma is coming to you about your aunt.JMO

She was always a peace maker regardless of the situation. However, my aunt and her daughter will never see me again. Im done with that family. They were at their absolute worst during the happiest time of my life. Im done.
And just for the record .. I tried over and over again until finally my dh and I were like this is the end.
Got so bad that my psycho cousin sent a blast email around to my entire family and HIS FAMILY!!! saying that all I care about is myself .. because 6 months wasnt long enough for her to get her measurements for her BM dress

All I can say is that I also totally believe in the power of dreams! I've had not the same but similar dreams and it has also been with my grandma. Usually for me, they are just dreams so vivid that they feel so real...like we are actually together. They make me feel so great but sometimes I also feel shaken because its so hard to believe it was just a dream.I think, despite your tears, that your dream was amazing!!!
PS - I think about my grandma every single day too. Both of my parents worked while my brother and I were growing up so my grandma was like our 2nd mom!

It has happened to me many times as well. I was very close to my Grandfather who passed away when I was 16. I still have dreams till this day, almost twenty years later. Trust it was her sending you a message.

That is really amazing. This hasn't happened to me in a dream, but this has sort of happened to me in real life (please don't think I'm nuts!)I think they can visit you, and you are very lucky that you actually got to see her.

Wow! that is amazing and sooo touching! I got goosebumps reading this!i kind of had a dream like this once! Except, it was DH's dead grandmother (who I never met) calling me on the phone. She told me to tell DH that she loves and misses him. SHe also said something that I cant completely remember...but it was pertaining to him being careful and making good decisions. Weird!

Re: WHOA ---
A similar thing happened to me. I found a birthday card from my Grandmother and it made me hysterical. She always said she wouldn't live to see the day I got married and she didn't. I was sobbing and my mother couldn't even calm me down. That night I could swear she woke me up out of bed. I followed her out of my bedroom and we were in her old apartment. All her things were in boxes and she was saying to me to stop being upset. She was very sick and she has been next to me every step of the way, etc. etc. etc. It felt really good to hear and I woke up with a whole new outlook.
Fast forward, 2 years after that dream, I worked in a coffee shop and a spooky psychic lady came in to ask me if she could do readings there. I took her info without any intention of calling her. As the spooky poltergist looking lady goes to leave she asks me, 'Who's Maria?' I said I don't know and look away. She said, 'you don't know her? Maria Carmela?? Well she is standing next to you' That is my grandma!! I called home to tell my Mom. Than I told her, I hope she closes her eyes SOMETIMES!!
We hired that spooky lady!!

I've had several experiences like this... Its one of the best (and confusing!) feelings...Personally, I wouldn't look to close into the 'message' in as much as you had a special moment with your Grandma and that is what you should cherish!

Re: WHOA ---
first I wanna say- I am SO SO SO SO SO SORRY for your loss!
my grandfather passed away 2 years ago. my mother and I found him on the floor next to his bed.
and yes, while I was living at home (I ended up moving into his old bedroom. which was mine first) he used to talk to me in my dreams, he'd tell me he hated the color I picked for the walls- and I agree I picked a horrible color.
He'd also tell me that he was dead, but decided to come visit. the worst was that my mother and I would dream on the SAME night.. we'd both be like.. 'um, did he visit you?' in the morning.
and growing up, I NEVER used an alarm clock.. my grandfather would knock on my door and wake me up, I'd yell '5 minutes' and 5 minutes later he'd wake me up again.
since he's passed-- he's woken me up several times.
my mother would laugh when I'd yell '5 minutes' in my sleep.
I had a dream about him the night before my wedding, but I don't remember details.. I just know he was in it.
so my point- yes, i think its normal to dream of the deceased. And yes, there are times when I think that they are trying to send a message...
so maybe your grandmother is trying to tell you to reach out to your aunt and make peace.
