Who's had friendship trouble...

Who's lost friends and/or family members since the wedding ended?
My mom and I had it out & weren't speaking for 2 weeks. Thankfully she came around.
I had to replace a BM, she dropped off the face of the planet. Good riddance!
DH had to replace a GM. He was a jerk, but has realized it and is making an effort to rebuild their friendship.
Anyone else got a story?

I dropped a BM at the beginning of our engagement *long story*. But other than that, nope......we are still close with all of our good friends

I had it out with a bm who was supposedly one of my best friends. Shes still around, but a fairweather friend. Not a bm either!

My MOH called me 6 months before the wedding and told me that she couldn't be in my bridal party anymore... At first I tried to understand where she was coming from but when I realized that she just didn't want the responsibility, we ended our friendship. I had another BM who I asked to be my MOH, and was able to pick another one of my good friends to be a BM so it all worked out.

Since the wedding DH has had a falling out with two of his GM.
It's funny because DH and I were talking the other day about how different our bridal parties would be if we got engaged now instead of 2 years ago.

Not really, all the GMs are still great friends, there really hasnt been too much of that since some are married, engaged or serious with someone.

Now the girls...all but 1 I still speak to on a pretty normal basis. Its crazy how you realize that your lives are completely different when you plan something important in your life

my best friend since 8th grade I obviously elected to be my MOH..well 4 months into engagement she decides she doesn't want to do it VIA EMAIL mind you and dropped off face of earth there went that 10+ year friendship..

After really thinking we (family & other friends) think she may have been jealous as she was with her boyfriend 7 years and he had yet to propose and here I was with my DH for 4 months and he popped the question...I mean she shouldn't have been upset with me..I had no idea he was going to propose..I never flaunted it because I knew she'd be bothered all I said was will you be my MOH she said yes and 4 months later bailed...

oh well..

my new MOH s u c k e d as well...my other long time friend (BM) stepped up and saved the day..

I haven't had trouble with anyone since, however I was informed of some in-fighting between my maid and matron of honor, along the lines of my maid of honor not stepping up as she should have with the shower and other things. i was told even my mom was upset with her; she's still very single and has had a string of messed up relationships so the only thing i could think of was jealousy. she and i have been friends since nursery and is like a sister to me. we're still close now, i'm just puzzled about her behavior.
