Why has surprising people become so hard?

Im so mad. I bought DH these sneakers he's been dying for and he would have never guessed I got them because theyre hard to find. I bought them a while ago and theyve been sitting at my moms house. Well, last night he comes home and says 'This guy is selling the sneakers I wanted and Im offering him 150 for them!' GREAT FOR ME! SO I was like really who has them? Are you sure you want them? Are you really gonna get them. Asking him 101 questions so I can see if I should tell him. I HAD to tell him today or he would have bought them himself. There goes my nice surprise. Im so mad. What are the odds that 7 days before Xmas he finds the sneakers I bought him.

Now my mom is telling me shes going to buy tickets to the concert IM BUYING TICKETS FOR. So it looks like I may have to spill her secret too. I wish people would just realize 'Hey Christmas is right around the corner, maybe someone is getting me something I want'

Omg that *****!!!!! Why why why why!!!??? I hate when that happens! Totally sucky. Is that his only gift???

OMG i hate that, this happens to me ALL the time with DH. He ends up buying himself something i want to get him or if i bought it already he will attempt to and i try to convince him not to get it and he ends up doing it.

And this week my bday surprise for him is RUINED. I wanted to take him to vegas, and he just told me he has to go to arizona for work feb 8-13. His bday is feb 5th so i wanted to go feb 5th-8th or 9th. But now with him leaving the 8th, he cant take off right before that bc he will need to finish up alot of things at work since he will be gone I AM SO ANNOYED and dont know what to do. He did ask if i want to go to arizona with him, but doesnt help with my plans at all

Ohhhh are you going to go to AZ and if so where exactly?? I love it there! DH is from there and I am heading there for xmas! Let me know if u go and I will tell u the fun hang out places!

Also that ***** about the Cirque tix! But I still think u should go!!! There are like 4 or 5 shows now and they r all so amazing!!!!!

well dh is going for work. He asked me yesterday if I want to go with him but I said not sure. I have no clue what part of AZ exactly. Thank you, if i do decide to go i'll definitely ask you all about it.

Yeah I thought about it, but i dont know why i cant get past the whole thing that another girl already did this for him. If it was just a regular day then maybe i would, but for his 30th bday i dont want to do something thats been done for him. Especially not when this girl got like 1st row tickets lol, now i'd have to make sure i get that too

Vegas also has La femme which looks real good, its the same as the crazy horse in France and i think he would really like it, well what guy wouldn't . Also i know that cirque also does the show Love now which is the same thing they do but in this show they do it all to beattles music so i did consider that.
