Why I love my DH today...

So most of you know DH & I are TTC - have been since Sept (sadly not much luck right now) - but I started using the ovulation tests & my LH surge started yesterday. So last night we (for lack of a better term) 'did it.' It was so cute though b/c after we were done DH grabs my ankles & says 'ok we have to hang you upside down for 15 min'...lol...& then he tells me - 'but seriously - they say you are not supposed to get up for a while or move around -so lay still' - & I ask him 'how do you know this?' - he said I did some reading on up the best ways to get pregnant on the internet. I was like, 'you did?' & he was like 'yep - I want to do everything we can to try - so I looked up information so I can help us too'...he never ceases to amaze me. Just by him telling me that makes me even more certain that this is the man I want to spend my life with & want to start a family with...I was just so touched I had to share!

Listen--when we started TTC, we didn't make a secret about it-and I'm glad, because I got awesome advice from friends/coworkers that are either pregnant or already mommies...

I am not joking when I tell you--like 10 different people said doing 'legs in the air with butt propped on pillow' was what did the trick..

It sounds stupid, maybe it's an old wives tale, but it worked for me! Seriously it was the best advice I'v gotten.

More advice for you on those pee sticks-yes, they are good (the smiley clearblue ones are the best by a landslide). If you're using the ones with the 2 lines, make sure you're, ahem, DOING IT alot, because if I only did it based on what those said, I wouldn't have gotten pregnant! I never quite got the lines to match up--I drink SO much water and pee all day long, I was diluted! When I told my doctor, he said they were far from foolproof. What did the trick for us (besides legs in the air ) was we did it ALOT between cycle days 7-21..regardless of what the OPK said.
